Student answer (Band 5.0)

In evidance of the advances made in agriculture many people around the world are still hungry due to shortage of food and people faces different crises about food

this is because of lack of distribution and supply of food massive amount people died beacuse of hungar every year this number further increases with the passage of time this is beacuse food are not stored in cold storage areas and also there are no preventive measures to prevent food in different seasons also there are lack of transportation and other facilities to supply food from one country to another, also there are some errors present in this feild if we handle or solve these errors the problem of food shortage solves on other hand geo politics are the major reason of food shortage due to war between different countries food cannot import or export this results in shortage of food another reason of food shortage is high prices of things which normal people cannot afford

we can improve this problem by improving supply chains, government and different internationaol organizations need to improve food transportation and supply and facilities and support to prevent or store food by using new technologies to minimize food wastage, goverment should needs to improve basic facilities like numbers of employes , food chains so large companies can invest in nurtation sector, we also need to support modren technologies used in agriculture to face diffrent climate changes by using these techniques we can prevent shortage of food

innconslusion, while agriculture sciences has progressed rapidly hunger presists due to systemic flaws and eceomic dispariteis \

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address both questions: you identify causes such as poor distribution and storage, conflict, and unaffordable prices, then suggest better transport, storage, technology, and agricultural methods. These are relevant responses to the task, and the conclusion restates the central issue. However, several points are asserted rather than explained. For example, “there are some errors present in this field” is unclear, and the link between investment in “nutrition sector” and reducing hunger is not developed. The proposed actions would be more convincing with a specific example or explanation of how they would reach people who lack food. The response covers the task, but some causes and solutions are less fully developed than others.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

There is an overall sequence from causes to possible solutions and then a conclusion, so the reader can identify the main stages of your response. However, the ideas are presented in very long, largely unpunctuated blocks, with no clear paragraph breaks to separate the causes from the solutions. Linking words such as “also,” “another reason,” and “on other hand” are repeated or used mechanically, and the relationship between some points is difficult to follow. For instance, the discussion moves from storage to transport, then to unspecified “errors,” and then to geopolitics without clear transitions. Use separate paragraphs for each main section and organise each paragraph around one central idea, supported by explanation.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “distribution,” “supply chains,” “transportation,” “food wastage,” and “climate changes,” which helps communicate the subject. There are also attempts at more specific language, such as “preventive measures” and “systemic flaws.” However, spelling errors and inaccurate or unnatural word choices are noticeable and sometimes make meaning unclear: “evidance,” “hungar,” “geo politics,” and “economic disparities” (written as “eceomic dispariteis”). Phrases such as “food shortage solves” and “support to prevent or store food” are not natural collocations. Build accuracy by checking spelling and learning common word partnerships, such as “reduce food shortages” and “improve food storage and preservation.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt to connect ideas using longer sentences and clauses, and the response includes some simple and more complex forms. However, sentence boundaries and punctuation are often missing, making several sentences run together and obscuring how ideas relate. There are also errors in agreement and verb forms, as in “people faces,” “food are not stored,” and “government should needs to improve.” Articles and plural forms are also inconsistent. These problems occur across the response and sometimes make the reader work to understand the intended meaning. Improve control by writing shorter sentences, checking that subjects and verbs agree, and using full stops to separate complete ideas before attempting longer structures.
