Student answer (Band 5.0)

From the past few years although agriculture has made tremendous advancements, but there are still neurmerous individuals around surrounding so hungry. According to my perspective, this cause of reduction of food is because of inappropriate focus on this field, i would like to tell the solution of this, further in this essay.

First of all, i would say that this inequality betwen food distribution and people all over the world is due to the substantial number of individuals. Although we have arranged a lot of machines for harvesting the crops, this is still not enough to fulfill the needs of humans. For instance, in modern days even though we are dealing with everything properly and accurately, there is still an issues related to overcome the world population. Moreover, whenever we have a look around us, specifically in countries like (China, India) and some other countries, they are facing several problems related to shortage of food because of high population. So, increasing number of humans may be the cause of shortage of food and in retun, due to this people around us are so hungry, because food is not enough to fulfill their demands.

Secondly, i would say to overcome this cause we need to control population all over the world. Althoug this is extremely difficult in under developed countries. In these countries, mostly people are ignorant they do not know what would be the effects of extended families, unless the government apply strict laws on it. For instance, there was a time when China was considerd a world largest country in respect of humans, now they have abled to managed everything buy applying stricts laws on it.

To conclude, despite of the progression made in the field of agriculture, there are also numerous things which need to be consider for manitaining a proper balance between foods and humans. So, that's why controlling the production of offsprings is really a crucial role in this regard.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You address both questions by identifying population growth as a cause of hunger and proposing population control as a response. However, the task is only partially addressed: the explanation focuses almost entirely on population, while other important causes—such as poverty, conflict, food waste, or unequal access to food—are not considered. The proposed solution is also narrow and under-developed. For example, you say governments should apply “strict laws,” but do not explain what policies these might involve or how they would reduce hunger. The reference to China is relevant in principle, but its connection to food security is asserted rather than clearly demonstrated. Develop a broader explanation and support each main point with specific reasoning or an example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, a paragraph on causes, a paragraph on a solution, and a conclusion. Sequencing phrases such as “First of all,” “Moreover,” and “Secondly” help signal the stages of your argument. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes repetitive: the first body paragraph returns several times to the idea that population growth causes food shortages without adding a distinct supporting point. Some links are also awkward or unclear, particularly “So, increasing number of humans … and in retun,” which makes the relationship between the ideas harder to follow. The conclusion repeats the population-control proposal rather than bringing the main points together. Organise each paragraph around one clear claim, then explain and illustrate it before moving on.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “agriculture,” “harvesting,” “food distribution,” “shortage of food,” and “population.” This gives the response a basic range suited to the subject. However, vocabulary is often repetitive or imprecise, and several collocations make meaning less natural, such as “so hungry,” “fulfill the needs of humans,” and “production of offsprings.” There are also noticeable spelling errors, including “neurmerous,” “betwen,” “retun,” and “Althoug,” which reduce accuracy. Aim for precise expressions such as “food insecurity,” “meet people’s nutritional needs,” and “population growth,” and check spelling carefully. A wider range of accurate terms would help you explain causes and solutions more clearly.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including clauses beginning with “Although” and “whenever,” but complex structures are often faulty and errors occur frequently. The opening, “although agriculture has made tremendous advancements, but there are still,” incorrectly combines two contrasting structures. Other examples include “this cause … is because,” “there is still an issues,” and “China was considerd,” showing problems with sentence construction, agreement, and verb forms. Sentence boundaries and punctuation also need attention; “Althoug this is extremely difficult in under developed countries” is a fragment rather than a complete sentence. Practise building accurate sentences with one main clause and a clearly connected subordinate clause, and check articles, singular/plural forms, and verb agreement.
