Student answer (Band 5.0)

Although agriculture has been advance , People in different places still go hungry. Today's modern machines, better seeds and with the help of new ways peoples are producing alot of agricultre products.Despite of this there are peoples who still canot find food to fill their stomic. The main reason's of this is poverty, the distribution of food and wars. To resolve this reason Governament and international law makers can take step to avoid these reasons.

For one hand, one of the main reason for this is poverty. Their are peoples in all over the world who have not any money to buy food for themselves.Although their are food in their own country, still they can't have food becuse of money. Another reason is the on going war and some democratic instability can effect the supply of food chain.

One the other hand, The unfair distribution of food is another issue of this. In many countries they can wast alot of food. While there are peoples in some other cities of the same country needed the food which they are wasted.

In conclusion, despite advancement in agriculture main reasons are same. If Governament can help farmers, reduces the wastage of food and provide food to the poor who have not enough money to buy it from their selves then this can resolve the issue.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You identify relevant causes—poverty, unequal food distribution, and conflict—and offer possible responses, including helping farmers and reducing waste. This gives the essay a clear connection to both questions. However, the task is only partially addressed: the proposed actions are mostly listed rather than explained, and the causes receive limited development. For example, you mention that war affects the food supply but do not show how this leads to hunger or give a specific example. The conclusion also does not clarify who should provide food or how support could reach people without money. The response is 28 words below the required minimum, which limits the space available to develop and support your ideas.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, paragraphs on causes, and a conclusion. The reader can generally follow the main points, and phrases such as “Another reason” and “In conclusion” signal transitions. However, progression is uneven: the first body paragraph combines poverty with war, while food distribution is separated into a very short paragraph and is not linked clearly to the proposed solutions. Some linking expressions are inaccurate or awkward, including “For one hand” and “One the other hand,” which interrupt the flow. Develop one main point per paragraph, connect each cause to its consequences, and use transitions such as “On the one hand” and “Furthermore” accurately. Clearer references would also help readers track who “they” refers to.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “poverty,” “distribution of food,” “food chain,” and “wastage of food,” so the central message is usually understandable. However, the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation, and spelling errors make the writing less clear or natural. Examples include “agricultre products,” “fill their stomic,” and “democratic instability,” which does not precisely express the likely idea of political instability. Repeated use of “food,” “reason,” and “people” also restricts precision. Build a wider set of accurate terms for causes and solutions, and check spelling and collocations. More precise vocabulary would help you explain how poverty, conflict, and distribution systems contribute to hunger.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, for example, “Although agriculture has been advance…” and “Although their are food in their own country…”. However, complex structures are often faulty, and frequent errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, and sentence boundaries can make the reader pause. Examples include “agriculture has been advance,” “there are peoples,” and “Governament can help farmers, reduces…” The opening also joins sentence fragments and clauses without reliable punctuation. Practise forming accurate sentences with “although,” and check subject–verb agreement and verb forms, such as “the government can help farmers, reduce waste, and provide food.” More consistent control of these basics would make your ideas easier to follow.
