Student answer (Band 5.0)
Today, despite of the advances made in agriculture, many people around the world still hugry. The main causes of that problem is corruption and barbary which are still common in all the societies. In addition, desrease in opportunites are also the main reason. In my percpective, if we are able to remove these problems everyone can eat minimun two times a day.
To begin which the the case, the corruption and barbary are the two major thing which cause decline in any society of the world. It give the opportunites to those people who are not capable to avail these opportunities while the capable people remain job less. An other reason for that is people don't want to work hard. For example, if the person who are working hard and he is capable for opportunite but someone else come and but this opportunite by paying for it.
To be secure from this problem we want to work hard and want to awer the people about the nature of corruption and barbary. Today, all the people are trying to support these evils because of the lack of awerness. Government should also make a stict rule about that evil and also to remove this from the society.
In conclusion, all these are only the main reasons for this but it also have alot of other that are also be removed from the society and make the society free from evils. government should focus on it and also make a stick rule for the supporters of this evil.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.5
You identify corruption and bribery as causes and propose public awareness and stricter government rules, so the response does address both questions at a basic level. However, the explanation is limited: the link between corruption, employment opportunities and hunger is not made clear, and the example about someone paying for an opportunity does not show how this leads to food insecurity. The response also gives little attention to agricultural advances or other relevant causes, such as poverty, conflict, food distribution or waste. Solutions are similarly general and are not explained in practical terms. The response is 243 words, below the 250-word minimum; the 12 words copied from the prompt are excluded from that count. Develop the causes and solutions with clearer, relevant examples.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, a paragraph on causes, a paragraph on solutions and a conclusion. Basic signposting such as “To begin” and “In conclusion” helps readers follow the intended sections. However, progression within paragraphs is weak, and several ideas are repeated rather than developed—for example, corruption and bribery appear in both the causes and solutions sections without a clear transition from explanation to remedy. Some links are unclear, particularly the movement from agricultural advances to job opportunities. Connect each cause directly to hunger, then organise solutions in response to those causes. Use cohesive devices to show relationships between ideas, rather than relying mainly on formulaic openings.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use a small set of topic-related words, including “corruption,” “opportunities,” “government” and “society,” which makes the general subject understandable. However, vocabulary is limited and repeated, and several inaccurate choices or spellings make the meaning harder to follow. For instance, “barbary” appears to mean “bribery,” while “decline in any society” is vague in this context. Errors such as “hugry,” “desrease,” “percpective” and “awerness” also reduce clarity. Some phrases are unnatural, including “remove these problems” and “make a stick rule.” Build a more precise range for discussing food insecurity, distribution and policy, and check spelling and collocations carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including a conditional sentence beginning “if we are able to remove these problems” and an example introduced with “For example.” This shows some effort to connect clauses, but control is inconsistent. Agreement errors occur in “the main causes … is” and “It give,” while “the person who are working” has a mismatch between the subject and verb. Articles and sentence construction are also problematic, as in “if the person” and “An other reason for that is people don't want to work hard.” The final sentence, “it also have alot of other,” is difficult to interpret. Practise accurate subject–verb agreement and build clear, complete sentences before adding more complex clauses.
