Student answer (Band 5.5)

In modern world, advances observed in all the sectors of glode including IT, medical and manufacturing. Agriculture also not behind in technology where we see new types of seeds which grow fast and full of nutrients plant. Scienetist developed different process in which we can grow plant everywhere on the world but the question is, with this great advancement and technology, how it is possible that people around the world still go with hurgry. Lets find out the real cause behind it.

Advancement come with the price, Not everyone can afford anything in this world. In african countries, most of the land is deserted which can be fertile with technology but due to poverty, they cant afford those machinery and system. In addition, Job market also saturated around the world, Most city had all resourses to grow plants and supply food, but people still have to buy it with money and if someone had no job, how can he be able to get food for himself. Furthurmore, Wars also effect on agriculture. Due to bombing with high nuclear radiation in world war 2, most part of globe especially japan become unfertiled or deserted land.

To overcome these issues, Strong policies should be made by united nation that food must ne available for everyone. If any country found it neighbour weak in agriculture, hepl them to make their lan green to produce more food. All developing countries should use their advancement in making more idustreis to provide better job opportunities for people, so they can not only atleast get food for their families but also invest in other things. Furthurmore, longterm hazardous weapon which uses in war should be banned so no one will get hurt in future.

To put nut in a shell, I conclude that food is availble everywhere but people not getting it due to poverty, financial unstability or harmful weapon use in war. these problems have solution that countries help each other with aid to make their neighbours land green, wars should not used weapon which was hazerdous for fertile land.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both questions: poverty and unemployment are offered as reasons people cannot obtain food, while international assistance, job creation and restrictions on harmful weapons are proposed as responses. These ideas are relevant, and the conclusion restates your main view. However, the explanation is only partly developed. For example, the claim that land in African countries could be made fertile through technology needs a clearer explanation, and the reference to nuclear radiation after the Second World War is not convincingly connected to present-day hunger. The solutions also need more detail about how aid or employment policies would reach people who are hungry. A clearer, more consistently supported explanation of the causes and practical responses would strengthen the answer.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, a paragraph on causes, a paragraph on solutions and a conclusion. Linking expressions such as “In addition,” “Furthermore” and “To overcome these issues” help signal the direction of the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes mechanical, and several ideas are placed together without a clear relationship. The shift from poverty and unemployment to the effects of wartime radiation, for instance, needs a more explicit link to food insecurity. Some references are also unclear, such as “he” and “their neighbours,” where the intended people or countries are not always precise. Organise each paragraph around a central point and use clearer links between explanation and example.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt topic-related vocabulary, including “agriculture,” “nutrients,” “machinery,” “fertile” and “job opportunities,” and some choices help communicate the subject. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate word choices or collocations make parts difficult to understand. Phrases such as “go with hungry,” “land green,” “longterm hazardous weapon” and “put nut in a shell” are not natural in this context. Spelling errors, including “glode,” “Scienetist” and “availble,” also reduce clarity. Build a more reliable set of expressions for food insecurity and policy, and check spelling and collocations carefully. For example, use “go hungry,” “make land productive” and “in a nutshell.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You try to use both simple and longer sentences, including clauses introduced by “which,” “but” and “so.” This gives the response some structural variety, but control is inconsistent: many sentences contain errors in verb forms, agreement, articles or sentence construction, and these sometimes make the meaning difficult to follow. For example, “Advancement come with the price” has a subject–verb agreement problem, while “if someone had no job, how can he be able to get food” shifts tense and forms an awkward question. The opening sentence is also incomplete: “In modern world, advances observed…” lacks a main verb. Practise building complete sentences first, then check agreement, tense consistency and article use in longer structures.
