Student answer (Band 5.5)
In the remarkable advances in agriculture such as high -yeild seeds and advance machinary still many people all around the world are hungary . it is a biggest paradoxe of this time .there are many problem that case the hunger but i will exmine two most important problems in this essay with relevent examples
The first major problem is hoarding now a days many hoarder stockpile the grains and make arrtifical shortage to increase the prices ,so the poor people can not offord these prices . For instaance in the pakistan and india there are many hoarders who buy grains at less price and than sell it at highest price .another problem is wastage of food and poor managment . Like in the Europe countries tonnes of food are thrown into the baskets beside this in devoleping countries due to lack of cool storage and appopraite warehouses plenty of food are roted . Sometime, poor road and transport facilities cause food wastage .
We can solve these problems if the government apply strict regulations on the hoarders and bulid new roads for better transport and build warehouses for storage . In other countries we should raise the awerness about good wastage and stop them from wasting food.
In conclusion, hunger does not accur due to machinery but it is because of people greed and poor managment if we solve these problem we can see a gif differance in hunger .

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both questions by identifying causes—hoarding, food waste, and inadequate storage or transport—and proposing government regulation, infrastructure, and awareness campaigns. These are relevant and your examples from Pakistan, India, and Europe help illustrate the points. However, the causes and solutions are mostly asserted rather than explained in depth: for instance, you could show how weak enforcement enables hoarding or how better storage reduces post-harvest losses. The conclusion restates your view but does not add much development. The response is 11 words below the required minimum, which limits the space available to develop the ideas. Extend each main point with a clear explanation or a specific example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall shape: an introduction, a paragraph on causes, a paragraph on solutions, and a conclusion. The sequence from identifying problems to suggesting remedies is easy to follow, and signposts such as “The first major problem” and “In conclusion” help guide the reader. This meets the lower-band expectation of coherent overall arrangement and shows some stronger control through paragraphing and progression. However, links within paragraphs are sometimes mechanical or unclear, as in “beside this,” and several ideas are crowded into long sentences. Use more precise transitions and separate distinct points—for example, discuss food waste and poor storage in separate sentences, then explicitly connect each cause to its solution.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use relevant topic vocabulary, including “hoarders,” “artificial shortage,” “transport facilities,” and “warehouses,” and these choices make the main ideas understandable. There is also an attempt to use less common language, such as “stockpile” and “regulations.” However, the range is limited and errors in spelling, word form, and collocation are noticeable throughout, including “hungary,” “machinary,” “offord,” and “good wastage.” Some inaccurate expressions, such as “a gif differance,” make the conclusion difficult to interpret. These issues fit a level where vocabulary is sufficient to communicate the topic but control is inconsistent. Check spelling carefully and learn common combinations such as “food waste,” “cold storage,” and “a significant difference.”
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a conditional structure in “We can solve these problems if the government apply strict regulations” and a contrast in the opening. However, complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors in agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries can make the reader work to understand the message. For example, “the government apply” needs subject–verb agreement, while “it is a biggest paradoxe” has an article problem. Several sentences run together or lack clear punctuation, particularly in the introduction and the paragraph about food waste. Practise building accurate sentences first, then combine them with conjunctions; also check agreement, articles, and full stops during proofreading.
