Student answer (Band 5.5)
In the current era, the agriculature industry has undergone several advancements with the innovation of technology. Even though the industry has modernized, numerous individuals around the globe still starve for their feeding needs. The essay will highlight the consiquences of this scenario, and the steps taken to eliminate this. I believe that the hunger issues can be eliminated by folloing some proper protocols which can be discussed further on this discussion.
Agricultural and technological advancement is crucial for the success of a nation. While the sector have made various improvements in farming, cultivation of crops, and inhouse production of goods, the poverty of the rural areas is still constant. This is because the farmers are working hard but not earning a sustainable amount to meet their finencial needs. For example, the farmer works day and night for the production of wheat and barley. Due to the weather conditions, they work in summers, and saves for winters. After dispatching the crops, the govenment doesn't provide them with competable amount which can fulfil their needs. In the result, the families in the rural areas starve.
In addition to this, there are various measures which should be taken to eliminate this issue. The govenment professionals should give them compatible amount to fulfil their finencial needs. The officials should also take care of the rights of the people living in the country by initiating a cause to provide them with food and sheltar. For example, distribute sufficient food in the rural areas to feed them. This will ultimatly help to eliminate their hunger needs. Initiates should also be taken to educate the rural areas so they can do other jobs. In my perspective, the world is full of people who don't have enough to eat and die in hunger. I heard of a family, who was living in the interior side. They requested the government to provide funds fulfil their hunger needs. The government doesn't facilitate them, due to which they die in hunger.
In conclusion to this, with the massive growth in the agriculture sector, I firmly beleive that the officials should not only take actions to expand their business, but also look into the issues that are being faced by the poor and needy people of the community.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both questions: you suggest that rural poverty and inadequate payment to farmers contribute to hunger, and propose government support, food distribution, and education for other employment. These are relevant ideas, and the example of a family seeking help gives the response a concrete element. However, the explanation of why hunger persists is narrow: it focuses mainly on farmers’ income and does not clarify how agricultural advances fail to reach hungry people more broadly. Some proposed actions, such as providing “food and sheltar,” are mentioned but not explained in enough detail, and the family anecdote is not clearly connected to a wider solution. Develop the causes and explain how each measure would reduce hunger.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for causes and solutions, and a conclusion. This helps the reader follow the broad direction of the essay. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear: the discussion moves from farmers’ work and weather to government payment, then to families starving without fully explaining the links. Connectors such as “In addition to this” and “In conclusion to this” are used, but some transitions feel mechanical, and “This” in the introduction does not clearly identify the issue or proposed discussion. The anecdote also interrupts the solutions paragraph rather than supporting a clearly stated point. Use clearer topic sentences and link each example directly to the claim it illustrates.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “agriculture,” “cultivation,” “rural areas,” and “sustainable amount,” so the reader can understand the general subject. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or awkward, such as “starve for their feeding needs,” “compatible amount,” and “eliminate their hunger needs.” Spelling errors—including “agriculature,” “consiquences,” “finencial,” and “beleive”—are noticeable and reduce the accuracy of the writing. Some phrases also repeat the same idea, particularly references to fulfilling financial or hunger needs. Build a more precise vocabulary for causes and policy responses, and check spelling and natural word combinations when editing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including a conditional structure in “so they can do other jobs” and a subordinate clause beginning “While the sector…”. Meaning is generally recoverable, but errors occur often enough to make some sentences awkward or unclear. For example, “the sector have made” has a subject–verb agreement problem, while “the farmer works… and saves” shifts awkwardly between singular and plural reference. The sentence “They requested the government to provide funds fulfil…” is missing a grammatical link before “fulfil,” and “the government doesn’t facilitate them, due to which they die” is poorly controlled. Practise agreement, consistent reference, and complete clause structures, then proofread punctuation and sentence boundaries.
