Student answer (Band 5.0)
The progress that has been made in the agriculture industry nowadays and the work that has been done to go against world hunger is little to nothing and there is still people around the world daily still hungry.
The world is super populated and that made solving the world hunger not as simple as just making progress in the agriculture feild, It's about uniting everbody together against this real issus. The economie is not helping the case either the food is still getting more and more expensive by day with no increase in salary to make the balance and else even with the food that people can offered it's rarely food that could make someone full, most of it is proccus food and unnatural, also a reason for it is the large consumption for big companies like KFC and Macdonald making the food industry super unhealthy and not fulfilling but if it was not the case and these ingredient are available they would be so much cheaper, with how little green space we have advances made are not well adjust to how housing is destroying the spaces left. The probleme could be solved by developping a better system to navagaite howo we could provide a recycling systeme so people offerding food but it's consistently providing that food so people that are in need could offered either for free or with a small price tag the food that they need and it could provid the poor a job to work in and get the benefits of that field, make more green spaces that are going for food and not housing for example in tunisia we been deasprate for a lot of basic food elements like water, flour, tomatoo etc that are not availble anymore and clearly the advances made are not doing anything for us at the moment, so we tend to buy the proccus stuff that contain unhealthy stuff and expansive which in result not making us full at all, with the disappearing ingredient a lot of people live in a consist fear of not offerding the cheaper stuff in the future like bread anymore.
The advances made in agriculture is impressive but it's not making many people around the world not go hungry as promised.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both questions: you suggest that population growth, food prices, unequal access, and loss of green space contribute to hunger, and you propose food recycling and creating more space for food production. The Tunisia example also gives the response a relevant real-world detail. However, the explanation is only partly developed. The discussion of fast-food companies and processed food focuses more on nutrition and whether food is filling than on why people lack access to sufficient food. The proposed recycling system is promising, but its operation and likely impact are not clearly explained. Your final claim that agricultural advances are “not making many people…not go hungry” also leaves your position unclear. Develop the causes and solutions more directly and make the central argument consistent throughout.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5
There is an identifiable overall shape: an opening statement, a main discussion of causes and possible responses, and a concluding sentence. Some links between ideas are also signalled with phrases such as “either” and “for example.” However, the central discussion is presented as one very long paragraph, so causes, solutions, and the Tunisia example run together without clear stages. The repeated use of “and,” “also,” and “but” creates a list-like progression, while references such as “it” and “these ingredient” can make the connection between ideas difficult to follow. Use separate paragraphs for causes and solutions, then organise each around one main point. Clearer topic sentences and more precise referencing would make the progression easier to follow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “world hunger,” “green spaces,” “recycling system,” and “food industry,” and the Tunisia example helps make the discussion specific. However, the range is limited by repeated general words such as “food,” “people,” and “advances,” and several inaccurate or misspelled forms make meaning harder to process. Examples include “proccus food,” “expansive,” and “navagaite”; the intended meanings appear to be processed food, expensive, and navigate. Some combinations are also unnatural, such as “large consumption for big companies.” Aim for accurate topic-specific terms and check spelling and collocations carefully. More precise language for food access, affordability, distribution, and agricultural production would help express your ideas clearly.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt some longer sentences and use subordinate clauses, for example, “if it was not the case” and “so people that are in need could…”. However, complex sentences are often difficult to follow because clauses are joined without clear grammatical boundaries, especially in the long central paragraph. There are also frequent errors in agreement and sentence structure: “there is still people” should use a plural verb, and “The advances made in agriculture is impressive” has a similar agreement problem. Missing or misplaced punctuation compounds these issues, as in the opening sentence and the extended discussion of prices and processed food. Practise building shorter, complete sentences first, then combine related ideas with accurate conjunctions and punctuation.
