Student answer (Band 5.5)

As we go through many advancements in the field of agri sciences but still individual faces the straving situation . There are plenty of reasons behind yet this issue was not addressing by governments properly firslty main reason is the economy secoundly, negligency of the government sectors. And the solution would be aware citizens about the accesibility of food moreover, proper regulation of laws implementations .

On the one hand, economy plays a very important role as rich persons could easily have the avalibity of adanced food products they took benifit from the new imerging using technolgy food made because they had the availbility and they do not look eye upon the poors in a society which results in less food resources .For example in china scientist took research on tomotos so in a huge amount of tomotos was export to china for experiment which automatic results less availbility of tomotos and which left the prices was very high that normal person cant afford easily which spreads malnutrion .

On the secound hand , the government food sectors do not lookafter the storerage of foods many of the foods was waste because thete was no inspection many insects damage the cartons of foods as government allow to mixes the foods with advancements but many of the foods was wasted by doing experiments for example, the orange and green guva mixed to make new furit but by doing many of the furits was damaged which results in less furits avalibility.

By making proper rules and regulation the inspections teams plays very important role regarding the food manufacturing will results to overcome the hunger situation . And by educating residents about the importance of food that no one should waste the food will results a better condition .

so by using advanced technology , look after the stock of food as well to overcome the starving condition .

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both questions by identifying economic inequality and weak government oversight as causes, then proposing inspections, regulation and public education. These points are relevant, and the examples about food storage and research-related production help illustrate your concerns. However, the explanation is only partly developed: the tomato example is difficult to follow and does not clearly show how agricultural advances lead to hunger, while the guava example focuses more on experimental waste than on widespread food insecurity. The proposed solutions are also stated briefly, without explaining how they would improve access or distribution. Make the causes more precise and connect each example and solution directly to hunger.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, two body paragraphs beginning with “On the one hand” and “On the second hand,” and a concluding statement. This gives the reader some sense of organisation. However, progression within paragraphs is often difficult to follow, particularly in the tomato example, where several ideas are joined without clear relationships. Linking phrases such as “moreover” and “for example” are used, but they do not always clarify how one point leads to the next. The conclusion also repeats the general idea of using technology and monitoring food stocks rather than clearly summarising the argument. Use shorter, logically connected sentences and make each paragraph develop one main point.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “food resources,” “malnutrition,” “inspection teams,” and “regulation.” These choices show an effort to discuss causes and solutions beyond very basic terms. However, the range is limited and many spelling and word-choice errors make parts of the response difficult to understand, such as “straving situation,” “negligency,” “availbility,” and “storerage.” Some combinations are also unnatural, including “look eye upon the poors” and “food made because they had the availability.” Build accuracy with common topic collocations, such as “access to food,” “food waste,” and “government oversight,” and check spelling carefully. Clear, precise wording will make your ideas more convincing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, including explanations with “because” and examples introduced by “which.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and frequent errors in sentence structure, verb forms, agreement, articles and punctuation can make meaning hard to follow. For example, “many of the foods was waste” has an agreement and verb-form problem, while “the prices was very high” also has incorrect agreement. The opening sentence is a fragment-like construction, and several sentences run together without clear punctuation. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them using one clear subordinate clause. Check subject–verb agreement and use full stops to separate complete ideas.
