Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.5
The response is logically organized, with a clear introduction, an overview, and two body paragraphs that group the data effectively. The progression of ideas is smooth, moving from a general summary to specific details. Cohesive devices such as 'whereas', 'by contrast', 'similarly', and 'meanwhile' are used appropriately to link ideas and create a natural flow. Paragraphing is used effectively to separate the different categories of nutrients. The structure is coherent, and the relationship between the different parts of the report is easy to follow.

You have used a sufficient range of vocabulary to describe the data, including terms like 'illustrate', 'account for', 'proportions', 'contributor', and 'share'. The word choice is precise and appropriate for an academic report. There are no spelling errors, and the vocabulary is used accurately to convey the information. While the range is solid, incorporating a few more sophisticated synonyms or collocations related to data trends could elevate the score further, but the current level is already quite strong and clear.
