Student answer (Band 6.0)
Firstly we are going to discussed those peaople who thinks or believe that "it is the best to accept a bad situation, which is unsatisfactory job or shortage of money". Other people isn't in the favour.
On the one hand, there are some benefits to accepting a bad situation. Firstly, acceptance reduce stress and anxiety. constantly fighting against circumstances that cannot be changed immediatly, such ad a family responsibilities or an economic recession, can damage a person mental health. Secondly, acceptance can lead to contenment. Many people who are satisfied with a modest job and a simple life are often happier than those who are always chasing more money for upgrade their status.
On the other hand, I believe that trying to improve situation is more beneficial for long-term progress. If people simply accept an unsatifactory job, they will never develop new skills, such as IELTS or IT, and apply for a better opportunity abroard or work in a multinational company.
In conclusion, although acceptance can provide temporary mental peace, it doesn't solve the underlying problem. In my openion individual take a better step to improve new skills and face the new challanges in life, beacause this leads personal growth. opportunities and fulfill life desires.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both views and state a clear preference for improving difficult circumstances, especially in “I believe that trying to improve situation is more beneficial.” The discussion of acceptance includes relevant reasons—reduced stress and contentment—and the example of people satisfied with modest work helps illustrate this side. However, the opposing view receives much less development: you mention gaining skills and seeking better work, but do not explain how this can improve someone’s circumstances or acknowledge possible obstacles. The conclusion repeats your position but its final ideas are unclear. The response is also below the required 250 words, so there is limited space to develop and support the points. Extend both sides with explanation and a specific example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The response has a recognisable overall structure: an opening, a paragraph for each view, and a conclusion. “On the one hand” and “On the other hand” make the contrast easy to follow, while “Firstly” and “Secondly” help organise the reasons for acceptance. However, the opening is difficult to interpret, and the final sentence combines several ideas—skills, challenges, personal growth, and life desires—without clear links. Some transitions feel mechanical because the same sequencing pattern is used repeatedly. Improve progression by making the opening state the two positions clearly, then connect each explanation to its example with explicit references. A more focused conclusion would also give the essay a clearer ending.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range of topic vocabulary, including “stress and anxiety,” “economic recession,” “modest job,” “develop new skills,” and “personal growth.” These choices help communicate the main ideas, and some phrases show an attempt to discuss the issue beyond basic vocabulary. However, spelling and word-choice errors sometimes reduce precision, as in “contenment,” “unsatifactory,” “abroard,” and “openion.” Some expressions are also unnatural or unclear, such as “upgrade their status,” “apply for a better opportunity abroad,” and “fulfill life desires.” Choose more natural collocations and check spelling carefully. For example, “improve their social status” and “achieve their goals” would express these ideas more idiomatically.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms. The sentence beginning “constantly fighting against circumstances that cannot be changed” includes a subordinate clause, and the sentence about people satisfied with a modest job shows an effort to explain a general situation. However, there are some errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction. For example, “we are going to discussed” uses the wrong verb form, “acceptance reduce” has subject–verb disagreement, and “a person mental health” needs a possessive form. The opening fragment and the final sentence also make relationships between ideas unclear. Practise checking each sentence for a complete subject and verb, correct agreement, and clear clause structure; this will make your meaning more consistently easy to follow.
