Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.0

The response introduces the topic and gives a discernible personal view: “job satisfaction is primary factor” suggests that improving an unsatisfactory job is preferable. However, it does not adequately discuss both views or develop the opinion. The opening mentions accepting an unpleasant job and the importance of satisfaction, but the body begins only one argument about employees working under pressure and stops after “For example,” without providing an example or explanation. The response also does not address the shortage-of-money situation in the prompt. The required minimum length is not met, which leaves the task substantially incomplete. To improve, explain each viewpoint with a developed reason and example, then state and support your own position in a conclusion.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0

There is a basic attempt to organise the response: an introductory paragraph is followed by a body paragraph, and “On the one hand” signals the start of an argument. The opening also previews that both views will be discussed. However, the promised progression is not completed: there is no contrasting paragraph or conclusion, and the body ends abruptly with “For example,”. The relationship between the ideas in the introduction is also difficult to follow, so the reader cannot clearly see how the discussion will develop. Build a complete structure with an introduction, separate paragraphs for each view, and a concluding opinion. Use linking expressions to show contrast and cause, while ensuring each paragraph develops one connected point.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

The response uses some topic-related vocabulary, including “job satisfaction,” “managers,” “work,” and “difficult situation,” so the general subject is identifiable. There are also attempts to express abstract ideas, such as “mental pressure” and “crucial.” However, several choices are unnatural or imprecise: “immerse into the job,” “satisfaction on job,” and “take it for long run” do not convey the intended meaning naturally. “Employes” is also misspelled, and “entertain you” seems an unsuitable way to describe an unsatisfactory job. Aim for accurate collocations such as “remain in an unsatisfactory job,” “job satisfaction,” and “in the long term.” A fuller response would also give you room to demonstrate a broader range of relevant vocabulary.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

There is an attempt to use more than simple sentences, including the opening contrast between people who accept a situation and those who value job satisfaction. However, control is inconsistent, and errors sometimes make the intended relationships unclear. For example, “It is often argued that immerse into the job even, It does not entertain you” lacks a clear grammatical structure and has faulty punctuation; “individual pursuing their jobs” has an incomplete verb form; and “job satisfaction is primary factor” is missing an article. The sentence beginning “because various managers…” also needs clearer construction. Practise complete clauses, subject–verb agreement, articles, and punctuation, then check each sentence for a clear subject and verb. Using a few accurate complex sentences is more effective than attempting structures that remain incomplete.
