Student answer (Band 6.0)
It is true so might think it is better to accept the situation and move on rather than dealing with it to improve the condition, it actually depends on the situation and people.
Lets take a example of a situation,
A married couple, they were together since the high-school, they are school love birds and they married after their graduation.
One day, there was a wedge between them for a certain incident where they started to grow apart, this distance led to many fights between them which only made them more distant. The once high-school love birds are now being in torturous toxic relationship. so what would we do if we were in that situation?
some might say it is better to break off their bond and live separate lives, but will it give them closer? will they ever find their match again?
but it is not easy to continue the relation to it might raise questions like even if they get back together somehow will the bad blood be forgotten or will it give birth to new circumstances to new fights.
In my opinion, if i were in his/her shoes, i would try to repair the relationship even if i have to face many hardships. it is in my nature to no give up on the person or a relation which deem important or loved. Whatever the cause of the fights i will try to communicate with him/her and try to understand the situation, and try to solve the issue or try to change myself if i am the problem, i have the patience and capability to do that for my loved ones.
But many might now agree with my views, and i understand that not all of us are same, there view might be true their situations and not all of the situations would be same, there might be instances where the other person might find someone else or even long past of redeemable phase.
So as i said it depends on the person of interest and situation.
this is applicable to all kinds of scenarios, like being in unsatisfactory job, some people will think it is better to drop it and look for a better job which they deem fit for there economy and passion Or some might say it is a risky move they might not find a better job and may also become jobless.
we do not know the future, it is a leap of faith which

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both views and provides a personal opinion, but the development is uneven. The essay relies heavily on a single, extended personal anecdote about a relationship, which is not the most effective way to discuss the broader prompt regarding 'bad situations' like jobs or money. The final paragraph attempts to broaden the scope to include jobs, but it is cut off mid-sentence, leaving the argument incomplete. While the position is clear, the lack of balance and the unfinished nature of the response limit the depth of the discussion, preventing it from reaching a higher band.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the progression of ideas is disjointed. The transition between the personal relationship example and the general discussion of jobs is abrupt. Cohesive devices are used, but they are often repetitive or used incorrectly, such as the frequent use of 'try to' and 'some might say'. The paragraphing is inconsistent, and the essay ends abruptly without a concluding summary, which negatively impacts the overall flow and logical structure of the argument.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and range required for higher bands. There are several instances of awkward phrasing and word choice errors, such as 'give them closer' (instead of 'closer together'), 'long past of redeemable phase', and 'there economy' (instead of 'their economy'). While the meaning is generally clear, the range is limited, and the errors in collocation and word form are noticeable throughout the text.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede readability. Issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'not all of us are same'), incorrect pronoun usage, and punctuation errors, such as the use of commas where full stops are needed. The sentence structure is often repetitive, and the unfinished final sentence demonstrates a lack of control over complex sentence construction. These errors are frequent enough to be a distraction.
