Student answer (Band 5.0)

Several individuals contemplate that is is good for us to accept a bad situation for instance an unsatisfactory job or not having sufficient money. Opponents argue that it will be better if we improve such situation. This has become a heated argument in this contemporary society.Should individuals accept their fate or work on it and change their conditions this will be discussed in this essay. in conclusion i will write my perspective about this.

According to several individuals that people should always stay in the same place. If they are working in a toxic corporate work place there fate was written like this in addition if a person is poor he should not waste time in earning because they believe there is no point in working. People are assuming that if we try we will fail .

Opponents argue that why a poor should not try work hard and get what he wishes. They believe we get what we work for .They consider this absurd that a person should remain poor just because he was born poor. They enquire that every person should have the privilege to be affluent and live in developed and peaceful places. Most people does this because they are afraid of losing and they are not encouraged by anyone.

in my perspective people should try rather than just procrastinating and accepting things that are bad . we should be careful about our career, education and where we work but if we feel that we are in the wrong place it is good for us to move from there to the place where we are valued rather seeing yourself doing things that you do not like.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses both views and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is limited. The arguments are somewhat repetitive and lack specific examples or depth. For instance, the discussion on why people accept their fate is quite brief and relies on generalizations rather than exploring the underlying psychological or socio-economic reasons. To improve, you should expand on your points with more detailed explanations or concrete illustrations. The conclusion is also quite brief and does not effectively summarize the main points discussed in the body paragraphs.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the flow between and within them is often mechanical. There is a lack of sophisticated cohesive devices; you rely heavily on simple transitions or none at all. For example, the transition between the introduction and the first body paragraph is abrupt. Additionally, some sentences are poorly connected, making the progression of ideas feel disjointed. Using a wider variety of linking words (e.g., 'consequently', 'furthermore', 'in contrast') would help improve the logical flow and make the relationships between your arguments clearer to the reader.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. You use some basic terms repeatedly, such as 'bad situation' and 'people'. There are also some awkward collocations and word choices, such as 'contemplate that is is good' and 'enquire that every person'. To achieve a higher score, try to incorporate more academic vocabulary and precise synonyms. Avoid informal phrasing and ensure that your word choices are appropriate for a formal essay context.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent errors in grammar, punctuation, and capitalization. Examples include 'Most people does this', 'there fate was written', and the lack of spaces after periods. These errors are noticeable and occasionally distract the reader. While the meaning is generally clear, the lack of control over basic grammatical rules, such as subject-verb agreement and sentence boundaries, limits the score. Focusing on proofreading for these recurring errors will significantly improve your writing.
