Student answer (Band 6.0)
It is true that some people face difficult situations in life such as working in a job with not enough money while some people accept the situation meanwhile other think that they should never give up,always tried their best to get rid of the situation. In my opinion improvement is much more important for life.
On the other hand, some people prefer to accept a bad situation where they are compromising with the money and struggling a lot in the term of job but they are willing to continue it just foe their peace of mind. They might think that if they leave the job it may be cost a financial crises or they might not find a good job and they might happy with fact of getting a monthly salary. It is difficult to take risks or starting a new business specially when there are family responsibilities. Furthermore, it is peaceful when you accept hardships and mental challenges.
On the other hand, people argue that improvement is better for a person's growth and happiness. If a person is facing shortage with money it is better to learn new skills, try much harder and take risks for growth.Historically human progress also depends people who refused to accept poor conditions and make themselves able to achieve their goals in life.
In conclusions, although accepting hard situations gives peace of mind and it also lack risks but i strongly believe that improving circumstances can change a person life and it is always important to take risks to get more opportunities.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses all parts of the prompt by discussing both views and providing a clear personal opinion. The ideas are relevant, such as the mention of financial stability versus personal growth. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the argument regarding 'peace of mind' in the first body paragraph could be expanded with more specific examples or deeper analysis. The conclusion is clear, but the overall development of the arguments remains at a basic level. To reach a higher band, you should aim to provide more detailed explanations and concrete examples to support your points.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organised into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear progression of ideas. You use some cohesive devices such as 'Furthermore', 'On the other hand', and 'In conclusions'. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical, and there are instances where the flow is slightly disjointed, such as the transition between the introduction and the first body paragraph. Additionally, some referencing is unclear, and the punctuation, particularly regarding spacing after commas and periods, needs improvement to ensure the text is easier to follow.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary used is adequate for the task but lacks variety and precision. You rely on common phrases like 'bad situation', 'good job', and 'get rid of'. While these are understandable, they do not demonstrate a wide range of vocabulary. There are also some errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'cost a financial crises' (should be 'cause a financial crisis') and 'struggling a lot in the term of job'. To improve, try to incorporate more topic-specific vocabulary and idiomatic expressions related to career and personal development.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the reader's understanding. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues ('other think', 'human progress also depends people'), missing articles, and incorrect verb forms ('always tried their best'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with several missing spaces after punctuation marks. While the meaning is generally clear, the high frequency of these errors prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. Focusing on basic sentence construction and proofreading for small errors would be beneficial.
