IELTS Writing Task 2 question

Some people believe that it is best to accept a bad situation, such as an unsatisfactory job or shortage of money. Others argue that it is better to try and improve such situations.

Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

 

Student answer (Band 5.0)

Society is divided into altruistic and egocentric mind sets of people . Although some masses hold the viewpoint that few individuals think that it is better to accept worse situation , such as an unpleasant job or lack of funds because of taking action can lead to a better lifestyle , I believe that it is good to try and develop the such situation .

On the one hand , the main reason why some masses favour the former statement is because acccepting difficult circumstances reduce stress and provide the mental peace. This is due to fact that some situations are beyand the control of people . For instance , a survey conducted by reputed employment department has provided the concreate evidence by highlighting that 40% of people perfer to remain in their existing job . As a result ,accepting the difficult situation can provide the finanacial stadility.

On the other hand , I believe that the latter statement give the major reason for personal growth. as they bel
