Student answer (Band 5.5)
Few individuals consider that it is good to accept a bad situation when we do not have a good or a shortage of income. Some argue that people should try to improve these circumstance. This essay will discuss both views and explain. I believe that making an effort to improve a bad situation is generally better.
On the one hand, accepting bad situation is can sometime be a sensible choice. Life does not always go according to our plans and some problems may be beyond our controls. moreover, sometimes life is going badly and we face many difficult situations in our life. For example, sometimes we have many problems in our life they do not control so we need to switch our job. In addition some pupils support our family so they are physical and mentally sick they fight their huddles. All thing do not our control so we find a solution. On the other hand, Many people struggle in their life and they do not give up because they want to get a good job. Occupation is very significant in our life. For instance, many people facing to much problems in their job and some companies are very rude with their employees but people still doing job and do not resign. Furthermore, some companies terminate the employees with out any reason but people still searching job and go for the interview to getting a good job. In my opinion, people should not accept a bad situation and some times they effect their mental and physical health so we need to go in life and do not think too much and try to be work hard and get a good job.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The essay addresses both views and provides a clear personal opinion. However, the development of ideas is limited. The arguments provided, such as the mention of 'rude companies' or 'physical and mental sickness', are somewhat disjointed and lack depth. The explanation of why one might accept a bad situation is particularly vague, relying on repetitive phrasing like 'life is going badly'. To improve, you should provide more specific, logical examples and ensure that each paragraph fully explores the implications of the viewpoint being discussed rather than listing general statements.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organised into paragraphs, but the flow between and within them is often mechanical or unclear. While you use basic cohesive devices like 'On the one hand' and 'Furthermore', the logical progression of ideas is frequently interrupted by awkward phrasing or sentences that do not clearly relate to the previous point. For example, the transition in the second paragraph from 'problems beyond our control' to 'switching jobs' is abrupt. Improving the use of linking words and ensuring each sentence builds logically upon the last will significantly enhance the coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is generally limited and repetitive. You rely on basic terms such as 'bad situation', 'good job', and 'problems'. There are also instances of incorrect word choice and collocation, such as 'fight their huddles' (likely meaning 'hurdles') and 'they effect their mental health' (should be 'affect'). To reach a higher band, you need to demonstrate a wider range of vocabulary, including less common lexical items and more precise collocations related to the topic of employment and personal resilience.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains a high frequency of grammatical errors, including subject-verb agreement issues ('some companies are... but people still doing job'), incorrect verb forms ('they do not control so we need to switch'), and missing articles. Sentence structures are mostly simple or contain errors when you attempt more complex constructions. Punctuation is also inconsistent. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction and subject-verb agreement before attempting more complex structures. Proofreading for common errors like missing 's' on verbs or incorrect preposition usage will help improve your score.
