Student answer (Band 5.5)

These days, there has been a lot of talk about different types of bad situation, and should we accept or try to improve it. This essay will delve deeper into the possible punitive reasons, overviews, viewpoints, and advantages causing this scenario before presenting my school of thought in the ensuing paragraph with sufficient and relevant examples.

At first glance, there are several reasons in support of my context, but the most obvious one is that we should accept unsatisfactory job because there are a lot of unemployment. We have to earn money so that we should keep to work in bad company even we don't like it in order to get money. A survey conducted by "The Daily News" revealed that majority of people are responsible for this situation, while only a few are aware of it. As a result, it is clear why a large number of people agree with the aforementioned position.

My point is further supported by the fact that we have to learn to face the problems which will coming in the life. In ancient books, there are some lines that indicates that we should satisfy by our work due to get happiness. Satisfaction is the key to give pleasure to the soul. A famous non-governmental organization has been working to overcome this situation, and they suggest that government needs to spread awareness and educate people for the betterment of society. Thus, this will not only raise living standards of the public but also make individuals more cautious and practical in their approach.

In my opinion, we should always try to get good job in big companies, like, Amazon, Google, Facebook and Instagram in order to get good money. I believe that if we try to improve our situation, it will help us in future. We all know, progress plays a pivotal role to get motivation, and to keep curiosity to the work. As an example, if student can't be able to take good marks in exam, it will demotivate for him, and he give up to improve his percent in the exam. Moreover, our earning must be good to give better life to the family. Money is the main reason for someone's problem, we can see that money can solve the maximum problems. On other side, human are made for fulfill families expectation.

To recapitulate, it may be argued that even though there are many causes, overviews, viewpoints, arguments, and pros as well as negative aspects of trying to improve situation. Lastly, it seems to me that it is a wise idea to use such an option, and they are pragmatic as well for a human being on the earth. In order to foster global wealth, productivity, and a fine environment, citizens are urged to abide by the relevant laws and regulations.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses both views and provides a personal opinion, but the development of ideas is inconsistent. While the prompt asks to discuss accepting a bad situation versus improving it, the arguments provided are often vague or tangential. For instance, the mention of 'ancient books' and the role of NGOs lacks relevance to the core debate. The position is clear, but the supporting arguments are not fully developed, often relying on generalizations rather than logical progression. The essay touches on the requirements but lacks the depth and focus expected for a higher band score.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the logical flow is frequently disrupted by awkward transitions and unclear referencing. While cohesive devices are used (e.g., 'At first glance', 'Moreover', 'To recapitulate'), they are often applied mechanically or inappropriately, such as the list of nouns in the conclusion. The progression of ideas within paragraphs is sometimes disjointed, making it difficult for the reader to follow the writer's line of reasoning. Paragraphing is present, but the internal structure of the paragraphs lacks the necessary cohesion to support a clear argument.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is generally limited and repetitive. There is an attempt to use more academic language, but it often results in unnatural collocations or misuse of terms, such as 'punitive reasons' or 'my context'. Some phrases are used incorrectly, such as 'keep to work' instead of 'continue working'. While the meaning is generally conveyed, the lack of precision and the reliance on basic vocabulary prevent the essay from demonstrating a wider range. There are also instances of word-choice errors that occasionally hinder the flow of the argument.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but accuracy is inconsistent. There are frequent errors in subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'human are made', 'student can't be able to'), tense usage (e.g., 'which will coming'), and article usage. These errors are noticeable and sometimes cause the reader to pause, though they do not completely impede communication. The control over complex structures is weak, and the punctuation is occasionally erratic. A greater focus on basic grammatical accuracy is required before attempting more complex sentence forms.
