Student answer (Band 4.5)

In this time peoples thought that is the best can we accept difficult situation is best but on the other hand some people agree with that type off situation to make a difficult sense into the better situation. on my prospective i agree with the second situation because it's really like to respond like a real men moreover in that situation we learned about a different difficult situation off life and we learn how to face it in our life.they have so much advantage it's helpful for our development in our life and it also have a disadvantages

Furthermore i want to talked about disadvantages if we thought i can't do that and think negativity in our mind so it's just your time wasting and we don't achieve our goals so if they have so much disadvantages like that unemployment is such a real issue in our industry just focused on them.

Moreover in that case we talked about a second thing it's full with lot of advantage in that case we learned a thing it's about what type off things we want to choose in our life and it's help make different off life so we start our business with zero but you still work ouf them and we face a easily unemployment and we saved a money easily.

in conclusions in that case we talk about two type of thing a people choose and doing in our life but as a suggestion and my point off view a second things is also fine for all persons because it's helped to making new ideas and usually helpful for all the timd .

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response attempts to address both views regarding whether to accept a difficult situation or try to improve it, and presents a clear personal opinion in favour of trying to improve. However, the ideas are severely under-developed and lack extension. Key arguments, such as the mention of unemployment or starting a business from zero, are expressed in a vague and repetitive manner without sufficient supporting examples or coherent explanation. The progression of thought is difficult to follow due to poor articulation. Consequently, the task is addressed only partially, which aligns with the performance descriptors for Band 5.0.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 4.0

The overall organisation of the essay is heavily compromised. While the writer attempts paragraphing, the boundaries are blurred, and the progression of ideas is frequently blocked by a lack of logical links and confusing transitions, such as 'Furthermore i want to talked about disadvantages' and 'Moreover in that case'. Cohesive devices are generally inaccurate, repetitive, or mechanically forced. Referencing is frequently unclear, making it difficult for the reader to follow the flow of argument. There is no clear overall progression of ideas throughout the response, which places this aspect firmly at Band 4.0.

Lexical Resource — Band 4.0

The vocabulary used is basic, limited, and repetitive, featuring phrases like 'difficult situation', 'so much advantage', and 'real issue'. There are frequent word-choice errors and awkward collocations, such as 'peoples thought', 'on my prospective', and 'work ouf them'. Less common lexical items are attempted but usually used incorrectly. These errors and the restricted vocabulary range cause noticeable strain and difficulty for the reader, matching the criteria for a Band 4.0 performance.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.0

The writing relies heavily on simple sentence structures and faulty attempts at complex sentences. There is a persistent lack of control over basic grammar, punctuation, and tense consistency. Examples of errors include run-on sentences ('so if they have so much disadvantages like that unemployment is such a real issue in our industry just focused on them'), missing articles, and incorrect verb forms ('we talked', 'we learned'). Frequent grammatical errors distort meaning in several places and cause significant difficulty for the reader, corresponding to a Band 4.0 score.
