Student answer (Band 5.5)
Although there is a school of thought that it is better to try and improve such situation, an alternative perspective contends that it is best to accept a bad situation. While both arguments possess a certain degree of validity, I am firmly of the opinion that we have to improve our situation. This essay will critically examine both perspective before elucidating why I subscibe to this particular standpoint.
To commence with, there are several compelling arguments in favour of enhancing the conditions. First and foremost, our grudge for earning money never ending. This can primarily be attributed to the fact that people want to earn more and more money. A pertinent example of this can be seen in mullti international company. They try to expand their net worth year by year. Consequently, we cannot statisfied with our life. Furthermore, another noteworthy consideration is that sometimes situations are beyond our control. In essence, everyone cannot find a satisfactory job. Many people have family responsibility. This is particularly significant because of lack of education. Hence, advicates of this perspective maintain that it is best to accept badd situations. Last but not least, keeping unsatisfactory job can provide financial security consitutes another substancial argument in support of this position. Given that changing job can be risky perticularly when you have responsibility of family. It is reasonable too suggest that accepting reality can help people to adapt the situations.
Nevertheless, the opposing perspective alos warrants careful consideration. One of the most compelling arguments is that an unsatisfactory job can affect happiness. The underlying reason is that lack of motivation for work, poor work-life satisfaction. For instance, accepting everything may prevent growth. This , in turn , can lead to better future. Moreover, it is worth emphasising that challanges can motivate personal growth. This is largely attributed to improving financial condition is more important. As a conequence, difficult time create personal growth. Which may have far-reaching implications for individuals.
In coonclusion, although both accepting bad situations and fighting against bad situations are underpinned by credible arguments, I remain firmly convinced that we have to fight against bad situations. This is primarily because of your safe financial future, coupled with satisfaction in life. Ultimately , a balanced consideration of the issue suggest that atleast we can try to change the bad situations.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses all parts of the task by discussing both views—that of accepting a bad situation and that of trying to improve it—and provides a clear position throughout. In the body paragraphs, however, the student has accidentally conflated or swapped some of the arguments, sometimes attributing points about accepting situations to advocates of enhancing conditions, which slightly impairs the logical development. For instance, statements such as 'Hence, advicates of this perspective maintain that it is best to accept badd situations' appear amidst the discussion of enhancing conditions. Nevertheless, the main ideas are present, and the writer's personal opinion is clearly stated in the introduction and reinforced in the conclusion. The task is adequately fulfilled, corresponding to a Band 6.0.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is divided into logical paragraphs and attempts a clear organizational structure with an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. However, cohesion is frequently faulty and mechanical. There are confusing transitional phrases and structural mix-ups, such as starting the second body paragraph with 'To commence with, there are several compelling arguments in favour of enhancing the conditions' and then immediately listing arguments for accepting bad situations. Referencing is sometimes unclear, and punctuation errors around conjunctions and clauses further disrupt the flow. While there is an overall progression, the execution of cohesive devices is inconsistent, leading to a Band 5.5.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The writer demonstrates an adequate range of vocabulary for the task and attempts less common lexical items such as 'elucidating', 'subscibe', 'pertinent', and 'far-reaching implications'. However, there are numerous spelling and word-choice errors throughout the text, including 'mullti', 'statisfied', 'advicates', 'badd', 'consitutes', 'substancial', 'perticularly', 'alos', and 'coonclusion'. Furthermore, some collocations are awkward or inaccurate, such as 'grudge for earning money'. These lexical errors do not completely impede communication, but they restrict the score to a Band 5.5.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The student attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, including conditional and subordinate clauses (e.g., 'Although there is a school of thought...', 'Given that changing job can be risky...'). However, control over grammar and punctuation is inconsistent. There are frequent grammatical errors, such as subject-verb agreement issues ('our grudge... never ending', 'everyone cannot find'), missing articles ('keeping unsatisfactory job', 'responsibility of family'), and fragment sentences ('Which may have far-reaching implications...'). Punctuation is also problematic, notably with erratic spacing around commas. These frequent errors place the grammar at a Band 5.0.
