Student answer (Band 5.5)
Despite rapidly progressing in the field of occupation, some people still argue that it is best to accept a bad situation, such as financial issues or disappointing job. However, others believe that it is better to make more efforts and improve such situations. From my perspective, I agree to an extent with the stance of accepting difficult time with big heart but I strongly believe that people should try to improve their conditions by making more efforts continuously.
On one hand, the major factor that influences the people to favour this point of view of accepting bad conditions can beneficial in reducing the number of mental illnesses associated with the financial issues. in addition it can do so by awaring person from his reality and assist him to be proctected from more worse situations which could ultimately lead to variious mental disorders. This is evidenced by developing countries that have reduced stress rate significantly by applying this narrative.
On the other hand, some poeple supports the idea of doing more and putting more efforts to improve their situations. They can get posiitve outcomes by investing more time in transforming their bad conditons. A clear illustration of this is provided by various businessmen who have become successful in improving their standards by doing hardwork continuously.I believe tthat person should accept his present conditions to be known about his capacity and should always try to get good oppertunities because i strongly agree to the saying," if water strikes stoned regularly, it will break them oon one day."
To conclude as per thinking of some people accepting hard time can be beneficial for person in terms of reducing anxiety. However, other beleives that a person should try for his betterment. I personally agree to an extent with both point of views but i strogly suggest that a person should put more efforts for improving his considitons in future.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
The response addresses all parts of the task by discussing both views—that of accepting difficult situations and that of actively trying to improve them—while clearly stating a personal position. The introduction presents the premise well, and body paragraphs explore the two contrasting arguments. However, the development of ideas leans towards generality rather than deep elaboration. For example, the argument regarding mental health in developing countries is mentioned briefly without strong supporting evidence. Similarly, the conclusion reiterates the stance adequately but introduces slight confusion by stating agreement 'to an extent with both point of views' before firmly choosing one. Overall, the ideas are relevant, and the prompt's requirements are satisfied, meeting the descriptors for a Band 6.5 to 7.0 range, solidifying at Band 6.0 due to some under-developed extensions.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The essay displays a clear logical arrangement with distinct paragraphing separating the introduction, two body paragraphs, and the conclusion. Cohesive devices are utilized to signpost transitions, such as 'On one hand' and 'On the other hand', which helps the reader follow the flow of arguments. However, cohesion occasionally feels mechanical or repetitive, and referencing is sometimes slightly unclear, such as the pronoun use in 'They can get positive outcomes'. Furthermore, transitional errors like lowercase letters after periods ('in addition it can do so') detract from the overall cohesion. The progression of ideas is generally coherent overall, aligning well with the Band 6 descriptors.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
The student uses an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting some less common lexical items such as 'unsatisfactory job', 'mental illnesses', and 'transforming their bad conditons'. However, there are noticeable spelling and word choice inaccuracies throughout the text, including 'awaring' instead of 'making aware', 'proctected' instead of 'protected', 'variious' instead of 'various', 'poeple' instead of 'people', and 'posiitve' instead of 'positive'. Additionally, collocations are sometimes awkward, such as 'accepting difficult time with big heart'. While these errors do not impede communication, they limit the lexical score to a Band 6, reflecting a mix of adequate vocabulary and frequent lexical slips.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
The response demonstrates a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, attempting structures like 'Despite rapidly progressing in the field of occupation, some people still argue that...' and conditional-like idioms ('if water strikes stoned regularly, it will break them oon one day'). However, there are frequent grammatical errors and punctuation issues, including missing articles ('a person should try for his betterment'), incorrect prepositions, and typographical errors like doubled letters and spacing mistakes ('tthat', 'oon one day'). Punctuation slips, such as missing capitalisation after full stops, also occur. Although the meaning remains understandable and communication is rarely impeded, the frequency of errors prevents the grammar score from reaching a Band 7.
