IELTS Writing Task 2 question

Some people believe that it is best to accept a bad situation, such as an unsatisfactory job or shortage of money. Others argue that it is better to try and improve such situations.

Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

 

Student answer (Band 5.5)

In todays modren world different people has different type of mind set. Each induividual has different thoughts and mindset, everyone is correct in their own thoughts but not everyone is always right.

Some people thinks that it is a better way to just accecpt the circumstances, and do nothing at all. While on the other hands some people thinks that it is important to work and overcome those probluems. Both the aspects are valid but they had some advantages as well as disadvantages.

First of all, if we discuss the factor of only just accepting and doing nothing, It maybe lead us towards the failuier. Because you have to do something in oder to achive something. sucess demands hardwork, but this mindset has some advantages like you can have a better oppournity after some time and etc. for example if a person has no money and he want to buy something there are only 2 ways. Either he work hard to earn the money or just wait for someone to gave him money he just depends on the luck and not his hard work.

On the other hand, the factor of working hard is the best in my opinion. Because a hard working man or women can achive greater scucess in theier as compared to those who just depends on the luck. for example, if a person wants to start a busines and he work hard to study about that and learn market trends he can really become sucessfull in a short period of time.

In conclusion, both point of views are good in their own way but in my opinion it is better to work hard and belive in yourself to achive something rather than just depending on the luck, Goals always require hard work to achive.
