Student answer (Band 5.0)

Some people belive that a bad circumstances ie easily acceptable, like unhappy employment or shorage of money. On the contradictory side, best solution is to work hard to imrove these situations. This essay discuss both views but i personally prefer taking action is better approach.

Those who are living in bad condition and con not do anything are beyond that indivisual's control. For instance, someone who suffer in serious medical conditions and having less resources, if he quit thier job and do nothing it ceate situatation worse. So he can do their work with normal routine and accept his fate.

However, i belive that accepting the bad condition leds to a stagnation. For example, if a person earn less from his job and try to improve his life and start learning a new skill from any online resources. Moreover, he can do a part time online job with his new skills, after some time he changed everything to his life and achive their goals. All the successfull person in the world work hard and always try to imrove their abilities to achive dream world in real life.

In conclusion, those who accept their fate and do not show effort in life gettingb stuck at this situation. I firmly belive that, hard work and countless effort can change evrything and dreams come true.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

The response addresses both views regarding accepting a bad situation versus trying to improve it, and states a clear personal position. However, the ideas remain somewhat limited and under-developed, relying on brief, simplistic examples like learning an online skill. Furthermore, the length requirement has not been met, as the response contains only 222 words, falling short of the required 250-word minimum. This lack of full development and failure to meet the minimum word count prevent the response from achieving a higher band score. It fits the Band 5 descriptor well, as it addresses the task only partially with limited and under-developed ideas.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The essay is divided into four paragraphs with a clear introduction and conclusion. However, the logical progression is frequently disrupted by awkward transitions and mechanical cohesive devices, such as 'On the contradictory side' and 'Moreover'. Referencing is also occasionally unclear, such as pronoun confusion in 'if he quit thier job and do nothing it ceate situatation worse'. Paragraphing is present, but the overall organizational structure lacks smooth flow and clear progression between ideas. This corresponds to the Band 5 descriptor, which notes some organization but no clear overall progression and inadequate or inaccurate cohesive devices.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The vocabulary used is basic and repetitive, with noticeable errors in word choice, form, and spelling throughout the text. Examples include 'belive' instead of believe, 'circumstances ie easily acceptable', 'shorage', 'imrove', 'indivisual', 'suffer in', 'leds', 'achive', and 'successfull'. These errors and the limited range of vocabulary occasionally cause strain and difficulty for the reader, fitting the Band 5 descriptor of a limited range with noticeable errors that may cause some difficulty.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The writer attempts a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, but these attempts are frequently faulty and hindered by persistent grammatical errors. Examples of structural and grammatical inaccuracies include 'This essay discuss both views but i personally prefer taking action is better approach', 'con not do anything are beyond that indivisual's control', and 'gettingb stuck at this situation'. Punctuation and capitalization are also inconsistent. Because attempts at complex sentences are often faulty with frequent errors that can cause difficulty for the reader, a band score of 5.0 is appropriate.
