IELTS Writing Task 2 question
Some people believe that it is best to accept a bad situation, such as an unsatisfactory job or shortage of money. Others argue that it is better to try and improve such situations.
Discuss both views and give your own opinion.
Student answer (Band 5.0)
Many philosphers concluded in their researches that two things among many other are most important for driving human growth. Most common phenomenon discussed by them are related to Money and Jobs.
Normal person most life revolves around job and money. For these two things he ussualy go places and can do unethical or immoral acts to achieve those in life. Most people drive motivation with satisfactory job and having enough money in their bank accounts. Motivation to lead the life in a comfortable and relaxing manner. It is sometimes driving their growth and confidence.
On the other hand, there are also some people who accepted their situation without money or having the motivation to change their un satisfactory job. The class of people have their motivations centered around other things like happiness and relationships. Their focus and comprehension about happiness does not revolves around money or job. Job is just a way for them to earn money, and that money can get that basic life neccessities. Some philosphers identfied them as 'Harmoners' of our society, like they are balancing the other side of society creating competition for happiness.
In my view, money and satisfaction in job is a driving factor of happiness in life. Most of our society are dependent on income earned through jobs and they spend most of their days in offices. If someone is spending most of the day in jobs and they feel it as unstaisfactory or unfulfiling. It will never create happiness in their souls and in the end, clouds of depresion will loom around his routine life. So in order to avoid, one must have or drive towards a goal of 'Satisfaction at job'. in addition to it, same value money has in life as well, it gets unending happiness and can be from different means.
