Student answer (Band 5.0)

Human life is a journey when many unwelcomed incidents occurs . Many people thinks that during uninvited events it is satisfactory to hustle and make it better. While some argue that during events such as disappointed job or hard on cash it is better to accept it. In this essay I will discuss both perspective before explaining why I we always have to choose to fight rather then sitting.

To begin with, Hard work can shows our personality. During bad phase if we decides to give up then it automatically means we are not ready to fight. Nobody wanted this type person in company or in life. To illustrate, as per shown in recent movie "Nims Dai - Nothing is impossible" the character decides to climb all 14 peeks of world's top mountains and during his journey he phase many problems but what mattes is he finished it that really shows his never give up attitude. Due to this many people use his journey as an example.

Another key point is, Humans can improve their ability to solve any problem if they didn't decide to accept it. As these type of events happens at any stage and if it occurs during young age and we accept the consequences then we automatically lose the ability to improvise. If same type incident happens in the future the he or she will not have any option because they lost there skill. Therefore, It is important to face it and look for solution.

on the other hand, Sometimes It can take an opportunity of bright future. As society don't want a person who think to accept a bad situation. In many companies during interview stage interviewer put candidate in situation where he or she has to fight and if they decides to give up then they look for another person.

To conclude, Although It can took once in a life time opportunity, I believe that we have to fight during such events. This is primary because It can shows our personality and they kind of problem solving skills that we possessed.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

The response addresses both parts of the prompt, discussing the view of accepting bad situations and the view of trying to improve them, while also providing a personal opinion in the introduction and conclusion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited and repetitive. For instance, the discussion on personality and hard work relies heavily on a single movie reference ("Nims Dai - Nothing is impossible") rather than exploring deeper social or psychological implications. The arguments tend to over-generalise, such as claiming that society universally rejects someone who accepts a bad situation. Furthermore, the final body paragraph appears slightly contradictory or muddled in its reasoning regarding opportunities. While all parts are addressed, the depth of task response aligns best with Band 5.5 to 6.0 descriptors.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The essay has a recognisable structure with an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion, and paragraphing is used. However, the logical progression is frequently disrupted by awkward transitions, mechanical cohesive devices (such as "To begin with," "Another key point is,"), and abrupt shifts between ideas. Referencing is sometimes unclear, as seen in sentences like "Due to this many people use his journey as an example," where the exact antecedent is ambiguous. Additionally, punctuation errors (e.g., lowercase letters after periods or commas before conjunctions like "on the other hand") detract from the overall flow. The organization shows an overall arrangement, but cohesion is often faulty, placing this criterion solidly in the Band 5.0 range.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The student attempts some less common vocabulary, such as "hustle," "improvise," and "personality," but lexical control is weak throughout the response. There are frequent word choice and collocation errors, such as "unwelcomed incidents occurs," "disappointed job," "hard on cash," and "took once in a life time opportunity." Spelling mistakes like "peeks" instead of peaks and grammatical errors in word forms (e.g., "phase" instead of face) demonstrate a limited and unstable lexical range. While the vocabulary is minimally adequate to convey the basic topic, errors in word choice and form cause noticeable difficulty and strain for the reader, matching the Band 5.0 descriptors.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

The essay displays a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, but grammatical accuracy is very low. There are persistent, highly frequent errors across almost every sentence, including subject-verb agreement issues ("Many people thinks," "incident happens... the he or she"), tense inconsistencies, and incorrect modal usage ("Nobody wanted this type person"). Complex structures are frequently faulty, leading to distorted or confusing meaning, such as in "As these type of events happens at any stage and if it occurs during young age and we accept the consequences then we automatically lose the ability to improvise." Because errors are pervasive and frequently impede clear communication, the grammar performance corresponds to a Band 4.5 or 5.0.
