Student answer (Band 5.5)
In today's modern world, it is widely held view that an increasing number of individuals aruge that accepting a detrimental situation is best like a lack of capital or dissatisfaction from their job. Conversely, certain people believe that improvment of such situtations is madatory to try somethings new for our better future. In this essay, I will discuss both perspectives before presening my own opinion.
On the one hand, a growing number of people think that keeping on bad situation is best because they believe that there are high competition among people to get higher position in particular job or to earn more money. Due to high competition they do not take risk and keep in a spcific comford zone. For instance, many Pakistani graduates accept unemployment or limitation of funds due to high competition in job market.
On the other hand, critics argue that runing out from this detrimental situation is compulsory for each and every individual because get out from this comford zone can offer you career opportunities. To elaborate further, accepting bad situation continuously can limit you to a specific job roles and very minimal salary. Therefore, get out can offer you long term career goal. Secondly, bracking bad situation can provide improve work life balance, by which you will be independent from anyone else and you can acheive each and everythings without any second option.
In my point of view, a balanced approach is more benefical for individuals by accepting difficult situation in a time where there is no second option for development, and whenever you have an alternative option then an individual need to grap this opportunity and move forward to the new level in terms of new job if they are not satisfied from the preious one or in terms of money of they have not well paid.
In conclusion, some people aruge that accepting bad situation is better due to the high competition in job market and lack of well paid salary. In stark contrast, others believe that imporving such situation is necessary to avail new opportunities and enhance our life style. While I could say that a balanced approch is suitable, whenever you have the new development opportunity than you must need to avail it for job satisfaction and to be well paid salary.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
The response successfully addresses all parts of the prompt by discussing both views on how to handle difficult situations and providing a clear overall opinion in the introduction and conclusion. The writer presents relevant ideas regarding the two perspectives, such as staying in a comfort zone due to high competition versus breaking out to find better career opportunities. However, some ideas are more fully developed than others; for instance, the points about work-life balance and financial independence in the third paragraph are somewhat repetitive and lack deeper elaboration. To reach a higher level, the writer needs to extend and support all arguments more thoroughly with specific explanations rather than generalizing points across the paragraphs.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The essay presents a coherent overall arrangement with a clear organizational structure, utilizing standard academic formatting such as an introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate different perspectives. However, cohesion is sometimes faulty or mechanical, with transitions like 'On the other hand' and 'Secondly' occasionally feeling forced or repetitive. Referencing is also not always clear, as seen in pronouns like 'this' or 'it' referring back to vague concepts, such as in the phrase 'accepting bad situation continuously can limit you to a specific job roles'. To improve, the writer should ensure smoother transitions between sentences and more precise referencing to enhance the overall flow.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
The student demonstrates an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting some less common lexical items such as 'detrimental situation', 'unemployment', and 'career opportunities'. However, there are noticeable errors in word choice, word form, and spelling that occasionally impede communication or distract the reader. Examples include spelling mistakes like 'aruge', 'improvment', 'madatory', 'presening', 'runing', 'bracking', 'benefical', 'grap', and 'preious'. Furthermore, collocation issues are present, such as 'high competition among people to get higher position' instead of 'competition for higher positions'. To achieve a higher score, the writer must expand their control of less common vocabulary and significantly reduce spelling and word-form errors.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
The response employs a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, attempting complex structures like conditional and relative clauses throughout the essay. However, there are frequent errors in grammar, articles, plurals, and prepositions within grammatical patterns. For instance, the writer makes mistakes such as 'it is widely held view' (missing article), 'keep on bad situation' (incorrect preposition), 'get out from this comford zone' (incorrect verb form and preposition), and 'money of they have not well paid' (faulty clause structure). While these errors do not completely obscure the message, they occur with enough frequency to hinder the clarity of the text. To progress, the writer needs to demonstrate better control over complex sentence patterns and improve grammatical accuracy in verb forms and prepositions.
