Student answer (Band 5.5)

Some Individuals believe that it is best to accept a worse situation, such as unsatisfactory job or shortage of money, while, others think that is betterto try and improve such situation. Although accepting a situation can sometimes provide stability, I believe that trying to improve it is generally a more positive approach.

On the one hand, accepting an unpleasent situation can be reasonable in certain circumstances. For example, a person may have financial responsibilities, such as supporting children or eldery parents, which make it difficult to leave an unsatisfactory job. In such cases, keeping a stable source of income may be more practical than taking the risk of unemployment. Similary, some problems are temporary may be imrove in naturally in future like the way of shortage financial circumstances, people suffers from alot of stress and depression how they will take our reposibility of our children academic and their parents expenses, so they want to do over time in office to recover our problems.

On the another hand, making an effort to improve a difficult situation can lead to better long-terms outcomes. If someone is unhappy to their job, for instance, they can develop new skills gain additional qualifications, or search for better employment opportunities. In the same way, people suffers from financial difficulties so they may want start our small new bussiness to disstress ourself and learning of new skills really help to expand our security and personal satisfaction for the future. Therefore, these steps take time to change financial things.

In my opinion, people should not simply accept and unsatisfactory situation where they are realistic to improve. However, they should to do our new business and express ourself as well and consider their responsibilities. A new balanced approach, doing hard work will give u positive result and sucess whatever u want.

In conclusion, accepting a difficult situation change to in mature person that u knows about everything how to earn and gain ultimately business ideas but don't give up every situation teach u well thats the real example of this situations.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

The response addresses all parts of the task by discussing both views on accepting versus improving difficult situations and provides a personal opinion in the introduction and conclusion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited and uneven. For instance, the discussion on why some problems are temporary and improve naturally in the second paragraph becomes tangled and under-developed, particularly when shifting to the emotional impact of stress and parents' expenses. Similarly, the conclusion introduces new ideas rather than effectively summarising the main arguments. To move to a higher level, the writer needs to extend and support all ideas more fully and maintain a clear, consistent line of argument throughout the essay without digressing into less relevant details.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The essay presents a coherent overall arrangement with a clear introduction and separate body paragraphs addressing each viewpoint. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'On the one hand' and 'On the another hand', though referencing and transitions are sometimes faulty or mechanical, as seen in the slightly awkward transition 'On the another hand'. Paragraphing is present, but the logical progression within paragraphs occasionally breaks down due to dense, convoluted sentences. To achieve a higher band, the writer must ensure that cohesive devices are used more accurately and naturally, and that the logical progression from one idea to the next within paragraphs is smoother and clearer.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

The vocabulary used is limited but minimally adequate for the task, allowing the writer to convey basic concepts about jobs and financial difficulties. However, there are noticeable lexical errors in word choice, collocation, and word form that cause some difficulty for the reader. Examples include 'worse situation' instead of 'bad situation', 'unpleasent' (spelling), 'shortage financial circumstances', 'disstress ourself', and 'bussiness'. The writer attempts less common vocabulary, but frequent inaccuracies in word form and collocation prevent the response from achieving a higher rating. Expanding the range of vocabulary and ensuring accurate spelling and word formation will be essential for improvement.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The writer employs a limited range of structures, relying on a mix of simple and complex sentences, but attempts at complex structures are often faulty. There are frequent grammatical errors involving verb forms, articles, prepositions, and subject-verb agreement, such as 'others think that is betterto try and improve such situation', 'some problems are temporary may be imrove in naturally', and 'people suffers from financial difficulties'. Punctuation and pronoun referencing also show recurring flaws. While these errors do not completely obscure the central meaning, they occur frequently enough to cause difficulty for the reader. Increasing control over basic and complex grammatical forms is necessary to elevate this score.
