Student answer (Band 5.5)

Job unsatisfactory or shortage of money is the bad situation nowadays, some people believe that it is better to accept this situation, and some argue that it is best to try and improve bad situations. In my opinion, it is far better to improve bad situation rather than staying in such situation, beacuse mental peace is more costly than anything.

Firstly, people think that it is better to accept the bad situation job or shortage of money, beacuse, according to some people its improves the risk taking activities in lives. For example, people who stay in bad situations can improve their skills dealing with bad situations. People can also handle stress in this situation very well, therefore, acceptance i far better than leaving the situation, these sitauation made people stronger and accept the situations and looking for better opportunities.

On the other hand, some argue that it is better to improves the bad situations, For example, it causes depression among people, Moreover, people think that staying in bad situations do not change anything, rather than dicuss issues with boss and colleagues and try to improve sitautions. In addition to this, people who tries to improve their situations in the houses and the offices, it leads to decrease the stress and depression Therefore, do not accept the bad situations try to change it respectively.

In conclusion, offices and many work places should try to improve these type of bad situations, beacuse it is very difficult for the person to staying in this kind of environment and it leads to mental stress, and it is afr better to improve these sitautions it can also help in the future, try to dealing with many situations and improve the sitautions can be very helpful for the future careers.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

The response addresses the prompt by discussing both views and presenting a personal opinion regarding bad situations like unsatisfactory jobs or financial shortages. However, the treatment of the task remains limited and somewhat repetitive. While you outline reasons for both accepting and trying to improve difficult circumstances, the ideas lack sufficient extension and depth. For instance, your argument that acceptance builds resilience is introduced but not fully explained with concrete examples. Furthermore, the position becomes slightly blurred towards the end of the essay when the conclusion shifts its focus onto what workplaces should do rather than reinforcing your initial personal stance on mental peace.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The essay displays some overall organisation, with a clear introduction, separate body paragraphs for each view, and a concluding paragraph. However, there is a noticeable lack of clear overall progression, and the logical flow between sentences is occasionally hindered by mechanical or repetitive cohesive devices. Transition words such as 'Firstly', 'On the other hand', and 'In addition to this' are used to signal shifts, but referencing is sometimes unclear, particularly with pronouns like 'this situation' or 'these sitauation', making it difficult to track what specific noun they refer to. Paragraphing is attempted, but the internal cohesion within paragraphs requires tighter logical linking.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

Your vocabulary range is limited, though minimally adequate for expressing basic ideas about jobs, stress, and financial shortages. There are noticeable lexical errors and spelling mistakes throughout the text, such as 'beacuse' (repeatedly misspelled), 'sitauation', 'afr', and awkward word choices like 'risk taking activities in lives'. You attempt some less common phrases, but frequent errors in word form and collocation—such as 'tries to improve their situations in the houses' instead of homes—can cause some difficulty for the reader and prevent the vocabulary from reaching a higher level.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

The essay relies heavily on a limited range of sentence structures, and attempts at complex sentences are frequently faulty. You make numerous grammatical errors regarding subject-verb agreement, verb forms, and articles, such as 'Job unsatisfactory or shortage of money is the bad situation', 'its improves the risk taking activities', and 'people who tries to improve'. Punctuation is also problematic, with several run-on sentences joined incorrectly by commas rather than conjunctions or full stops, such as 'Therefore, do not accept the bad situations try to change it respectively.' These frequent errors cause strain for the reader.
