Student answer (Band 5.5)

Few individuals thought that to choose a bad situation is best, such as thankless jobs or having no funds, while other believe that it try harder and improve such situation. Although people accepted an unsatisfactory jobs due to financial conditions, I believe in the latter statement because it holds more importance.

On the one hand, the major reason why some masses hold this viewpoint because of financial conditions. This is due to the fact that at present days people do not get their satisfaction jobs, where they can work with their full energy, get earn better as other get, and supportive co-workers. For instance, in many big companies employers has been ignored by their managers and co-worker, by that they feel doubted their own character. Thus , believe that bad situation is better.

On the other hand, I believe in the latter statement because of better life. To elaborate, nowadays younger people want to make their life easier for their future, by which they can proud their family and secure their upcoming future. Another worth considering reason is that become stronger toward worse conditions. To justly, if they can handle any worse situation they become more independent toward their life goals. Therefore, they can lead better life and make make their life more convenient for them.

To conclude, even though there are several reasons on first statement, i believe in the latter statement because of better life and become stronger toward worse conditions.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both views and state a clear preference for trying to improve difficult circumstances, especially in the introduction and conclusion. The discussion of accepting a bad situation is relevant, with financial pressure offered as a reason, and the second body paragraph gives reasons to seek improvement, such as independence and a better future. However, these ideas are only partly developed: the example about employees being ignored is difficult to connect clearly to accepting an unsatisfactory job, and the benefits of improving circumstances are asserted rather than explained with specific support. The response is also 7 words below the required minimum. Develop each main reason with a clearer explanation or example, and ensure the response meets the task length.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. Signposting such as “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “To conclude” helps readers follow the main direction. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear. For example, the first body paragraph moves from job satisfaction to managers ignoring employees and then to the conclusion that a bad situation is better, without making the connection explicit. Some linking phrases, including “To elaborate” and “Therefore,” are used mechanically, and “the latter statement” requires readers to recall the earlier wording. Make the relationship between each reason and its supporting example explicit, and use clearer references to the views.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “financial conditions,” “co-workers,” “independent,” and “secure their upcoming future.” However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are noticeably inaccurate, sometimes making the intended meaning difficult to understand. Examples include “thankless jobs,” which does not clearly mean unsatisfactory jobs, “satisfaction jobs,” and “proud their family.” Repetition of “better life” and “situation” also limits precision. Aim to learn common word partnerships for employment, financial hardship, and personal development, and choose vocabulary that expresses the exact idea rather than relying on broad phrases. Proofreading for word forms and natural collocations would make your argument clearer.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including a subordinate clause beginning “Although” and conditional structures such as “if they can handle any worse situation.” However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors occur frequently enough to make some ideas difficult to follow. For example, “while other believe that it try harder” has problems with subject–verb agreement and clause structure; “employers has been ignored” also has agreement and passive-form errors. There are further issues with articles, plurals, and sentence boundaries, as in “an unsatisfactory jobs.” Practise building accurate clauses with a clear subject and verb, then check agreement and singular/plural forms. More reliable control of these basics will help your longer sentences communicate the intended meaning.
