Student answer (Band 5.0)

For many years the people never accept the oppisite views of others in any field or topic in daily life , this different in points of views can be useful but sometimes it could be harful .

we will talk about some of this diffrential opinion in the two opposite situation like the satisfaction of low salaries or low level jobs .

we find some population agree with that they should accept any job with any salary given to make the cycle of life contiuous well , however in the other hand others believe that they should did their best and try to enhance this siuation by refuse the low expectation and work hard more and more to get the high level of jobs and make their income increased over the time .

in my opinion the second group are the right, because they encourage themselfs to be more improved in thir lifes, they can't stop in their place and wait the good chance like job or certain position, they go forward and make themselfs deserve the high level positions which will lead to enhance the quality of life.

however , we found the group who are accept any jobs even the unsatisfactories or accept the low rates salary will be in their places after many years , they still unqualified to get high chances and their life stoped in some where to progress. they will realise that but after it's to late to deal with it , and in the most cases they can't go back by time to modify their life to better one.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both views and state a clear preference for trying to improve one’s circumstances: “the second group are the right.” The discussion of accepting low-paid work and striving for better employment is relevant, and you give a reason for your opinion by linking effort with improved opportunities and quality of life. However, the ideas remain general and are not developed with a specific example or a fuller explanation of why accepting a difficult situation might sometimes be sensible. The opening comments about people accepting others’ opinions do not clearly introduce the employment and money issue. To strengthen the response, focus the introduction directly on the two positions and develop each with a concrete example or consequence.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has a basic overall structure: an introduction, discussion of the two positions, your opinion, and a concluding contrast. This helps the reader identify the main argument. However, progression between ideas is not always clear, and several long sentences combine multiple points without clear boundaries. Connectors such as “however” and “in my opinion” are used, but the contrast is sometimes awkward or repetitive, and the final paragraph largely repeats the earlier claim rather than bringing the discussion to a focused conclusion. Paragraphing would be more effective if each paragraph had one clear purpose: introduce the debate, explain acceptance, explain improvement and your view, then conclude. Use linking phrases selectively and make references between ideas explicit.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “low salaries,” “work hard,” “income,” “positions,” and “quality of life,” so the central meaning is generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several word choices or combinations are inaccurate, which sometimes makes the reader pause—for example, “satisfaction of low salaries,” “enhance this situation by refuse,” and “high level of jobs.” Spelling errors such as “oppisite,” “harful,” and “contiuous” also reduce clarity. Build a more precise set of phrases for discussing employment and financial circumstances, and check spelling carefully. Prefer natural collocations such as “accept a low-paid job,” “improve one’s circumstances,” and “career opportunities.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt to express contrast and cause using longer sentences, including the sentence beginning “however in the other hand,” and you communicate a recognisable position. However, the range of sentence structures is limited, and complex sentences are often difficult to follow because of errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries. Examples include “they should did their best,” “the second group are the right,” and “the group who are accept any jobs.” Punctuation and capitalisation are also inconsistent, particularly in the opening and around commas. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them with clauses using “because,” “although,” and “while.” Check that each subject matches its verb and that verbs after modal verbs use the base form.
