Student answer (Band 5.0)

These days incresing numbers of prople do comfortable job. Certain people think that it is better to accept a worth situation, otherwise an uncomfortable job or work in less money. Other argue that it is good to try and improve such situations. Prior to my stance, both the viewpoints would be discussed in the upcoming paragraphs with valid reasons and appropriate examples.

People also work in unsatisfactory because in some house situation are very bad. Therefore they work any company. They do not see office situation. However they do work in worse situation because also pay house rent. If he have any bravery, he get in trouble. That's why he had accepted a bad situation, such as an unsatisfactory employement or shortage of money. As my opinion they had stable for that job because, after they do not met another job.

Some individual said that also do try and take promotion such situations. That is also right because, some people have not do hard work and sit for expectition. If they do hard work, they archieve their goal. As example, One of my friend had fail in standard 12th but after he did hard work and work on himself. As a result in present situation he earn ten to twenty lakh him annual income.

In conclusion, people work on themselves not thing other people what speak on me. Therefore in bhagavat gita wrote, " Try and try, you will success". Moreover work ownself and complete own and parent dream. Althogh i am agree with second statement.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

The response addresses both views and gives a clear preference for trying to improve a situation, especially in the final sentence: “i am agree with second statement.” The example of your friend working hard after failing an exam also supports the idea that effort can improve someone’s circumstances. However, the discussion is only partial: the first view is explained mainly through rent and fear of getting into trouble, while the second is supported by one personal example rather than a developed explanation. The opening also promises “valid reasons and appropriate examples” but does not establish a precise position. Develop each side with a clear reason and explain how it supports your view; make your opinion explicit from the introduction onward.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The essay has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. Basic linking expressions such as “Therefore,” “However,” and “As a result” help show relationships between ideas. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes difficult to follow: “If he have any bravery, he get in trouble” does not clearly connect to the point about accepting a job, and the conclusion introduces advice about other people’s opinions and parents’ dreams without linking it to the discussion. Some transitions are also mechanical or repetitive. Organise each body paragraph around one main claim, then explain and illustrate it in a clear sequence. Use pronouns and linking phrases only when their references are clear.

Lexical Resource: Band 4.5

You attempt vocabulary relevant to work and personal circumstances, including “unsatisfactory,” “shortage of money,” “promotion,” and “annual income.” These choices show an effort to discuss the topic beyond very basic terms. However, the range is limited and several inaccurate word choices or spellings make meaning unclear, such as “worth situation,” “comfortable job,” “work in less money,” and “expectition.” Some phrases are also unnatural, including “take promotion such situations” and “work on himself.” Aim for accurate, natural collocations rather than inserting ambitious words without checking their meaning. Learning topic-specific phrases such as “accept an unsatisfactory position” and “seek better employment” would help express your ideas more precisely.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You use some simple sentences and attempt longer structures with reasons and examples, including “because in some house situation are very bad” and “As a result in present situation he earn…” However, the range remains limited, and errors occur frequently in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction. For example, “If he have any bravery, he get in trouble” needs consistent subject–verb agreement and a suitable conditional form; “he earn” also needs a correctly formed verb. The opening and conclusion contain incomplete or awkward constructions, such as “Prior to my stance” and “i am agree.” Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them with controlled clauses using “because,” “although,” and “if.” Check each sentence for a clear subject and correctly conjugated verb.
