Student answer (Band 5.5)
Most individuals think that it is good to consider a detrimental situation, while others believe that it is best to try and improve bad situations.
On the one hand, many people argue that it is best to accept difficult situations like unsatisfactory job and shortage of money because for some time they can survive or support their families.Furthermore, they does not want to take stress to think that if they change their job, may be this would not beneficial for them or may be staff will not cooperative.
For example, if a person have a job that he does not like but payment is really good he will easily consider this owing to their lifestyle. Moreover, some teenagers does not want to work hard so they depend to shortage of money and try to survive their life.
On the other hand, mostly adults think that it is better to try and improve their jobs because in the modern society they want to live according to their lifestyle. In addition, they believe that at least they should try to change their situation.
For instance, if adolescents change their job due to their statisfaction level , it will be beneficial for them. As a result, they improve their skills to working with different collegues and learn important things like time management, discipline and problem solving. By following this, they might be satisfied with own to think that at least they try their best.
In my conclusion, everyone should try to find best and work hard to achieve best. They do not relay just on one job because this might be not good for their future goals. If a person change their job with time to time , in this way they can have more career opportunities.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You discuss both positions and give a clear preference for trying to improve one’s circumstances, especially in the conclusion: “everyone should try to find best and work hard.” The examples about keeping a well-paid job and developing skills after changing jobs are relevant. However, the discussion is only partially developed: the reasons for accepting a difficult situation are not fully explained, and the point about teenagers relying on limited money is unclear. The argument for change also shifts from improving a situation to changing jobs, without explaining when a change is realistic or beneficial. The response meets the task’s length requirement; eight words copied from the prompt were excluded from the count. Develop each view with clearer reasoning and make your opinion consistent throughout.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. Signposts such as “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “For instance” help readers follow the broad direction. However, progression within paragraphs is uneven, and some links are mechanical or do not clearly show how one idea follows another. For example, the sentence about teenagers and money does not connect clearly to accepting an unsatisfactory job. The conclusion introduces career opportunities but does not fully draw together the earlier discussion. Improve the logical sequence by grouping each reason with its explanation and example, and use clearer references so readers can identify what “this” and “they” refer to.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-related vocabulary, including “unsatisfactory job,” “lifestyle,” “time management,” and “problem solving,” so the main subject is generally understandable. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, sometimes making the intended meaning difficult to follow. For example, “consider a detrimental situation” does not clearly express accepting it, while “depend to shortage of money” is not a natural way to describe living with limited income. There are also spelling errors such as “statis faction” (written as “statisfaction”) and “collegues.” Build a more precise set of phrases for acceptance, financial hardship, and improving circumstances, and check spelling and collocations carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including clauses introduced by “because,” “if,” and “that.” This gives the response some structural variety, but complex sentences are often faulty and errors occur frequently enough to make parts of the argument harder to read. Examples include “they does not want,” “if a person have,” and “if a person change,” where subject–verb agreement is incorrect. Articles and sentence construction also need attention, as in “like unsatisfactory job” and “may be this would not beneficial.” Punctuation spacing is inconsistent, with missing spaces after full stops and commas. Practise checking each sentence for a clear subject and correctly formed verb, then review articles and punctuation.
