Student answer (Band 5.5)

It is undeniable that money plays pivotal role in individuals life's. In this regards, few masses believe that it is best to accept a bad situation, such as an unsatisfactory job or lack of money. Others argue that it is better to try and improve such situations. This essay will outlined not only both views but also my opinion which is in the favour of latter point of view in upcoming paragraphes with logical conclusion.

On the one hand, there are several arguments in the favour of former point of view. The prime one is that, individuals can learn new skills. To eloborate it, in this modern era competition is too hard and people have less job opportunities but if they do unsatisfactory job or shortage of money there people can learn several type of skills which will be benefical for them in future. For instance, when in future people will do any other type of job then masses have lot of skills and wrok experience which they learned from previous job. Secondly, stability and security. To justify it, it is better to do a unsatifactory job as compare to unemployed because with no job source of income is totally stop. As a result people feel discomfort in the beginning but after some time individuals can gain new knowledge and experience with that type of jobs.

On the other hand, there are various benefits of latter point of view. First and foremost, long time rewards. To clarify it, it is hard to handle these situations in the starting but after some time people do more wrok and skills which gave them some benefits such as increase the pay decrease the burden of work. To epitome, when masses will feel comfort in their job then it improves their work performance. Last but not least, self-confidence. To clear it more, when people tackle with job problems and do work with full interest and confidence then it boost their self-confidence which effect their performance in positive way. As a result, to improve the situations self-confidence is most important then individuals can build a strong resilience.

In conclusion, although there are several benefits of latter point of view such as long time rewards and self-confidence, yet the importance of jobs and lack of money cannot be neglected at any cost.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You discuss both views and state a preference for trying to improve difficult circumstances, so the response addresses the main parts of the task. The first body paragraph gives relevant reasons for accepting a poor situation, including gaining experience and retaining an income; the second mentions future rewards and confidence. However, the position is not consistently clear: the conclusion says the importance of jobs and lack of money “cannot be neglected,” rather than directly reaffirming that improving the situation is preferable. Several points are also under-developed or unclear—for example, how doing more work leads to higher pay or less workload. Make your opinion explicit throughout and explain each reason with a clear cause-and-effect link or specific example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The essay has a recognisable introduction, two body paragraphs presenting opposing views, and a conclusion. Signposting such as “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” helps readers follow the broad structure. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes mechanical: repeated frames such as “To elaborate it,” “To justify it,” and “To clarify it” announce explanations without always making the relationship between ideas clear. Some links are difficult to follow, particularly the shift from accepting an unsatisfactory job to learning skills, and the conclusion does not clearly connect back to your stated preference. Use fewer formulaic transitions and build each paragraph around one reason, followed by a direct explanation and relevant example.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “stability and security,” “work experience,” “self-confidence,” and “resilience.” These choices show an effort to discuss employment and personal development. However, the range is limited by frequent inaccurate or unnatural word choices and collocations, which sometimes make the meaning difficult to interpret. Examples include “few masses,” “long time rewards,” “do more work and skills,” and “build a strong resilience.” Spelling errors such as “eloborate,” “benefical,” and “wrok” also reduce accuracy. Aim for natural combinations and precise wording rather than inserting formal-sounding phrases; for example, explain that workers can “develop transferable skills” or “improve their employment prospects.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including conditional and subordinate structures, but complex sentences are often faulty and errors occur frequently enough to make some passages hard to read. For example, “This essay will outlined” has an incorrect verb form, while “when in future people will do any other type of job” uses an unsuitable tense pattern. There are also recurring problems with articles, agreement, plurals, and sentence construction, as in “a unsatisfactory job” and “it boost their self-confidence.” Punctuation and spacing are inconsistent, and some sentences run together without clear boundaries. Practise accurate basic sentence patterns first, then add subordinate clauses and check each sentence for subject–verb agreement, articles, and tense.
