Student answer (Band 5.0)

It is widely believed that accept every situation and be contented whereas some of us are very motivated and want to get out from their comfort zone.

Majority persons just spend their life by ending their meat. They just struggle for their daily basic need and not to make effort to growth. This is their closed mindset. They are just contended by the having that time not have any tension about their future.

In contrast, a very few from us are struggling day and night and working day and night to secure their present as well as their future .They are brave and having a growth mindset. They have a proper road map to get those opportunity .

According to my perspective both mindset have some merits and some demerits .A person that has a closed mindset sleep well at night because they do not have any fear about future and he or she is totally believe that he definitely get what is written in his fate.So he is self contented person.and do not have any mental disease .they are satisfied what they have .But they have to face many problems in future as they run short of funds in future tasks and fell helpless at that situation.

In contrary , the person who has growth mindset are sleepless and working 24 hours a day and having no difference in day and night so he has many sleepless night . And without any rest. He consistent work make him successful. It make him tention free for future .

They will enjoy their future.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both perspectives by contrasting people who accept their circumstances with those who work to improve them, and you give a view that each approach has advantages and disadvantages. The discussion of contentment bringing peace of mind and effort helping secure the future is relevant. However, the task asks you to discuss bad situations such as an unsatisfactory job or lack of money, while your response focuses more generally on “closed” and “growth” mindsets. The position is also not fully clear: you weigh both approaches but do not state directly which you believe is better overall. Develop each view with a specific example and finish with a clear, supported opinion.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

The response has a basic paragraph structure, and transitions such as “In contrast” and “According to my perspective” signal changes in direction. The reader can follow the broad comparison between accepting circumstances and striving for improvement. However, progression within paragraphs is often unclear: several ideas are placed together without showing how one leads to the next, and the final paragraph repeats the claim that people with a growth mindset work hard before concluding, “They will enjoy their future.” Some linking phrases are also awkward or inaccurate, including “In contrary.” Organise the essay into a clear introduction, one paragraph for each view, and a conclusion that states your position; use linking words only where they express the relationship accurately.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt topic-related vocabulary, including “growth mindset,” “self contented,” “secure their present as well as their future,” and “run short of funds.” These choices show an effort to express ideas beyond very basic statements. However, the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate, sometimes making the meaning difficult to interpret. For example, “ending their meat” does not communicate the intended idea, and “get those opportunity” is not a natural phrase. Spelling errors such as “tention” and “contended” also reduce clarity. Build a more precise set of expressions for financial hardship, job dissatisfaction, acceptance, and taking action, and check spelling and word forms carefully.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt some longer sentence forms, including “A person that has a closed mindset sleep well at night because…” and “But they have to face many problems in future…”. However, complex sentences are often faulty, and errors in basic sentence construction frequently make the reader work to understand your meaning. Examples include “Majority persons just spend their life,” “he or she is totally believe,” and “It make him tention free.” There are also problems with subject–verb agreement, articles, plurals, and sentence boundaries, as in “They are satisfied what they have .But…”. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them using because, although, and while. Check that each subject matches its verb and that every sentence has clear punctuation.
