Student answer (Band 5.0)
Money is very essential part of our life and we cannot survice without money. Some people beleive that it is good to accept a bad situation while Others believe that it is better to try and improve situation. Thia essay will discuss both views. From my perspective it is very important to improve situation.
Some people believe that sometime it is accepting a bad situation is very benefical for our future. The reason is that people should more focus on work also more punctual and everything on time. Moreover people cana not change their circumstances because of their family support. for instance sometime people should have unsatisifactory job need to change but still cannot change because of their family. accepting a bad situation is good one because of change their lifestyle and support their family.
In oppose , some people argue that it is better to try and improve your situation because plenty of chnages in our life for improving lifestyle. people are unhappy with their job and improve their skills and gain qualifications for better employment. for instance young people can improve their skills because to live life happly and fullfilling thier dreams. they can also enhance their lifestyle. they can earn money not just for better eduaction but also live a dreamy life.
From my perspective, both point of view are valid but it is better to try and improve situations. it is good option for everyone for living happy and peacfull life. we can work our skills and gain knowledge that is good for better employment.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address both views and state your opinion clearly: you explain why some people accept difficult circumstances and conclude that trying to improve them is preferable. However, the discussion is only partially developed. The first view is difficult to follow, and the example about someone being unable to change an unsatisfactory job because of family responsibilities does not fully explain why acceptance is beneficial. The second view is more relevant, but its points about skills, qualifications and a happier life need clearer explanation and support. The response is 242 words, so it is 8 words below the 250-word minimum; the 17 words copied from the task prompt were not counted. Develop each view with a specific, clearly explained example.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, one paragraph for each view, and a conclusion that repeats your position. This helps the reader identify the main stages of the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is uneven, and some links between ideas are unclear. For example, the first body paragraph moves from punctuality to family support and then to accepting a job situation without showing how these points connect. Linking phrases such as “Moreover” and “for instance” are used, but they do not always create a clear relationship between the ideas. Organise each paragraph around one main reason, explain it, and then give a directly relevant example; use pronouns and transitions carefully to make connections explicit.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “unsatisfactory job,” “qualifications,” “employment,” and “improve their skills.” These choices help communicate the general subject. However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, particularly “improve,” “situation,” and “better.” There are also noticeable spelling errors, such as “survice,” “beleive,” “chnages,” and “happly,” as well as awkward combinations such as “change their lifestyle” where the intended meaning is unclear. These issues sometimes make the reader work to understand your point. Build a wider set of accurate phrases for discussing financial hardship, job satisfaction and personal development, and proofread spelling and collocations.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more extended sentences, and the overall meaning is usually recoverable. However, the range of structures is limited, and attempts at complex sentences often contain errors. For example, “Some people believe that sometime it is accepting a bad situation is very benefical” has an unclear clause structure, while “people should more focus on work” has incorrect word order. There are also frequent problems with articles, agreement and sentence boundaries, as in “Money is very essential part” and “both point of view are valid.” These errors can make relationships between ideas difficult to follow. Practise building accurate sentences with one main clause and a subordinate clause, and check articles, plural forms, agreement and punctuation.
