Student answer (Band 5.0)
Nowadays, many people are in bad situation such as people are not satisfied with their job, having money shortage and disputes in family. Some people believed that it better to accept such situation while other believed that people should try to improve such situation.
Every people have a problems in their life regarding jobs or money; it is better to accept such situations instead of felling sad or disappointed. People should try different way to achieve their goals in life. For example, if a person is not satisfied or happy with their job then also person should accept such problems as he wanted salary for their own and family survival. The person should work hard in their jobs to get promoted and for their increment in salary.
On the other hand, people believed it is better to try and improve such situations. For example, if a person have shortage of money then the person find different part-time jobs which can help him for their survival and remove their money shortage. Furthermore, if a person is not satisfied with their position in a company then person should work hard and get promotion such as from manager to directors after which he can superviser the work instead of working by himself.
In my opinion, the people should try to improve their bad situations instead of accept and losing their hope in a situations because after trying and improving situations people usually can manage to get everytime in their life and help their family to live better life.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0
You address both views and give a clear preference for trying to improve difficult circumstances, especially in the final paragraph. The examples about keeping a job for family income and taking part-time work are relevant, but the discussion is limited and some points are not fully explained. The first body paragraph also mixes acceptance with advice to work for promotion, so the distinction between the two views is unclear. The conclusion’s claim that people can “get everytime” is difficult to understand. The response contains 246 words, below the 250-word minimum; the nine words copied from the task prompt are not counted. Develop each side more distinctly and explain how your examples support your position.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a basic essay structure: an introduction, separate body paragraphs signalled by “On the other hand,” and a concluding opinion. This helps the reader identify the main sections. However, progression within the first body paragraph is unclear: it begins by supporting acceptance, then recommends working hard for promotion, which belongs more naturally with improving the situation. Repeated use of “For example” and “Furthermore” makes linking somewhat mechanical, while references such as “such situations” and “the person” are repetitive and sometimes unclear. Organise each paragraph around one view, use clearer links between claims and examples, and make pronoun references more precise.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “shortage of money,” “salary,” “promoted,” and “part-time jobs.” However, the range is limited and several phrases are repeated, particularly “such situation(s),” “person,” and “work hard.” Some word choices or combinations are inaccurate and make meaning less clear, as in “get everytime in their life” and “superviser the work.” Aim for more precise expressions and natural collocations, while checking word forms and spelling. For instance, describe a person as “financially struggling” or say they can “seek a promotion,” rather than relying on repeated general wording.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and longer sentences, including conditional examples beginning “if a person…,” but the range is limited and complex sentences are often inaccurate. Errors occur frequently in agreement and verb forms: “Every people have a problems,” “a person have shortage,” and “the person find.” Articles, plurals, and sentence construction also need attention, as in “it better to accept” and “instead of accept.” These errors sometimes make the reader pause, although the overall meaning can usually be followed. Practise building accurate sentences with a clear subject and verb, and check articles, singular/plural forms, and verb patterns before submitting.
