Student answer (Band 5.5)

In medern technological era most of the people want everythings perfect and well organised and did not want the lack of anythings. Some individuals thinks that it is better to accept a harsh situation, like as unsatisfactory employment or scarcity of money while others claim that it is good to try rectify situations. I truly believe that it is benefical to to try and upgrade such conditions. This essay will discuss both points of views.

On one hand, the opponent suppose that it is favourable to admit harmful situation lack of jobs and wealth. To elaborate this, it can built or habit of patience and tolerance as a result we can survive easly in any circumstances. For instance if someone who do not find job in their specialised department then he try to get job in other department they never giveup whatever the state of affairs.

On the other hand, the proponent assume that it is advantageous to amend the scenario. To explain this, by doing this it is helpful because try something new and try to do better increases our capbility of doing thing as a result we can handle any situation if it bad or good. For example, if someone want to buy LCD and he has lack of money he add more money then he buy it easly while it takes some time but it is benefical.

In my opinion, it is best to seek something and get better result and escalate such case.

In conclusion, it is constructive to bear unpleasent situation while other argue that it is necessary to try and improve conditions.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

You address both views and state your preference for trying to improve difficult circumstances, so the response is relevant to the question. However, the discussion is only partly developed: the point about acceptance building patience is not clearly explained, and the example shifts from finding work in a different department to never giving up, leaving the connection to acceptance unclear. The example about saving or adding money to buy an LCD illustrates persistence, but it does not strongly explain how people can improve a bad situation such as low income. Your opinion is stated, but “seek something and get better result” is too vague to show precisely what you recommend. Develop each view with a clearer reason and a directly relevant example, and make your position more specific.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a coherent overall arrangement: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, your opinion, and a conclusion. Signposting such as “On one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” helps readers follow the structure. However, connections within paragraphs are sometimes mechanical or unclear. For example, “To elaborate this” and “To explain this” introduce explanations that do not fully clarify the preceding claims, while “as a result” is repeated to link ideas. The first example also moves from changing departments to persistence without making the relationship explicit. Improve progression by linking each reason, explanation, and example directly, and use pronouns or transitions only when their references are clear.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt a range of topic-related vocabulary, including “scarcity of money,” “patience and tolerance,” “capability,” and “improve conditions.” These choices show an effort to discuss the issue beyond very basic language. However, the range is limited by repeated general terms such as “situation,” “try,” and “good,” and several inaccurate or misspelled expressions make meaning less clear. Examples include “medern,” “everythings,” “benefical,” “capbility,” and “unpleasent”; “admit harmful situation” is also an unsuitable word combination for accepting difficult circumstances. Aim for accurate collocations and more precise terms, such as “accept a difficult circumstance,” “seek better employment,” or “financial hardship,” and check spelling and word forms carefully.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You use both simple statements and attempts at longer sentences, including conditional examples beginning “if someone…”. However, the range is limited, and complex sentences are often faulty, which sometimes makes the intended relationships difficult to follow. For instance, “Some individuals thinks” has a subject–verb agreement error, while “if someone who do not find job… then he try” combines an incorrect relative structure with errors in agreement and articles. The sentence beginning “To elaborate this, it can built…” also lacks a correctly formed verb construction. Practise building accurate conditional sentences and clauses, and check agreement, articles, and verb forms. Clearer sentence boundaries and punctuation would also help readers follow your ideas.
