Student answer (Band 5.0)

some individuals argue that it is best to accept a bad condition for instance, unsatisfied work or financial constraint while others argue that it is better to try and improve the conditions. it is better to take the challenge and implore another means to survival from the current situation.

Challenge of life is what mode pepople and give the chance to think on different method to deal with the situations. However, situations makes think on the way forward to come out of the situation by so doing individual learn to fight and get rid any ugly condition the find themselves in.for instances a student who don't know mathematics and to overcome this the stident need to study hard, maybe he was reasing 2 hours per day,he will increase it graduto 3 and ever to 5 hours trying to sove one mathematics eqution,if sure continues, the student might be the best mathematic student in their class because he increase the learning time and also have the interest to learn.

Meaning accepting unwanted situation is only when individual might have try something else and never succeed.the individuals may have desire to try again but sometimes is not working the quite and accept the reality. for instance an engineer appling for a job in the federal office but could have the chance of getting the job might quit.

in conclusions, they best way to deal with ugly situations is to accept and challenge and think about the way out of the situation.it is better not to quit until you have tried because some situation might bring out the best aspect in your life.Quiting is not the best opinion but taling the challenge and devising another means to deal with may be needful.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You give a relevant opinion: you generally favour trying to improve a difficult situation rather than giving up, and you include examples such as a student studying more and an engineer seeking work. However, the discussion is uneven. The case for accepting a bad situation is only briefly explained, and the engineer example does not clearly show why accepting the situation may be sensible. The student example is more developed, but its detail does not fully clarify the broader argument. The conclusion also combines acceptance and challenge in a way that makes your final position less precise. To strengthen the response, explain both views more fully and state clearly when acceptance may be reasonable and why you ultimately favour one approach. The response meets the required length; 18 words copied from the task prompt were not counted.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

There is some organisation: the opening introduces the two views, the middle paragraphs discuss improvement and acceptance, and a conclusion is provided. Basic linking expressions such as “However,” “for instance,” and “in conclusions” help signal relationships. However, the overall progression is not consistently clear, and ideas within paragraphs sometimes run together. For example, the long student example moves from studying mathematics to becoming the best student without clearly separating each step in the reasoning. Repetition of “situation” and “challenge” also makes connections feel mechanical, while the conclusion’s “accept and challenge” is difficult to follow. Use clearer paragraph focus, shorter sentences, and more precise references so readers can see how each example supports its point.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “financial constraint,” “accept the reality,” “overcome,” and “devise another means.” These choices show an effort to express abstract ideas, but the range is limited and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate enough to make meaning less clear. Phrases such as “unsatisfied work,” “mode pepople,” and “best opinion” do not express the intended ideas naturally; “ugly condition” is also repeated where a more precise phrase would help. Spelling errors, including “implore,” “stident,” and “Quiting,” further affect clarity. Build a bank of accurate topic phrases and check spelling and collocations, especially when describing employment, financial hardship, and ways of responding to adversity.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5

You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, including a conditional example beginning “if … continues” and a contrast introduced by “while.” However, control is inconsistent: many sentences contain errors in agreement, verb forms, articles, or sentence boundaries, and these sometimes make the meaning difficult to follow. For example, “situations makes think” lacks a clear subject and has incorrect agreement, while “a student who don't know mathematics” has a subject–verb agreement error. The opening also joins clauses without reliable punctuation, and the final sentence contains several ideas without clear grammatical connections. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them with controlled clauses using “because,” “although,” and “if.” Check each sentence for a subject, a correctly formed verb, and clear punctuation.
