Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

You address both perspectives and state a consistent preference for improving difficult circumstances. The discussion of acceptance is relevant, especially the point that staying in a job during a recession can preserve security; the opposing view is supported by the example of an underpaid, experienced worker seeking a higher-level role. Your conclusion also restates your position. This meets the task well, but some reasoning is asserted rather than fully explained: for example, the claim that accepting a situation “affects mental health and increases the stress” is not clearly connected to the case for acceptance. The final point about avoiding “unrealistic goals” is also introduced without development. To strengthen the response, explain the conditions under which each choice is sensible and extend the examples with clearer consequences.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. Signposts such as “On one hand,” “On other hand,” and “Consequently” help readers follow the broad direction. However, progression within paragraphs is uneven, and some links are unclear or mechanical. In the first body paragraph, the point about stress seems to conflict with the claim that accepting a situation offers comfort and security. The sentence beginning “On other hand, people who argue to improve…” is also incomplete, making the relationship between the topic sentence and its explanation less smooth. Use clearer topic sentences, connect each example directly to the argument, and make references such as “it” and “this” unambiguous.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use some relevant topic vocabulary, including “job-security,” “recession,” “opportunities,” “determination,” and “financial support,” and you attempt to express ideas about motivation and career development. However, the range is limited by repeated general terms such as “situation,” “improve,” and “choice,” while several word forms, spellings, and collocations are inaccurate. Examples include “less payment,” “salary inconvience,” “underpayed,” and “grow as in person”; these can make the intended meaning less natural or occasionally harder to follow. Aim for more precise phrases such as “low wages,” “financial hardship,” and “personal growth,” and check spelling carefully. Varying repeated vocabulary while keeping collocations natural would make your argument clearer and more fluent.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including conditional and subordinate clauses, as in “when unemployment rate is high” and “although accepting the bad situations are some times safer option.” These attempts show a willingness to vary structure, but control is inconsistent, and errors sometimes make sentences difficult to process. For example, “Although, in some circumstances accepting the current condition would give emotional safety and be helps to be in comfort” has faulty clause construction and verb forms. Other examples include “it give them sense” and “when person has,” where agreement and article use need attention. Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, and check agreement, articles, and punctuation, especially when joining clauses.
