Student answer (Band 4.5)
In everyones life there are many problrms and hardships of life. so its depends on that perso that how they carry these bad days.firstly, some people accept this bad situation and dont try to do some ting for their sucess. A man how accept the difficulties of life and sit empty handed that type of man not become sucessful in their whole life, its depends on a man who is struggeling for ourself that how they go throuhg that chellanges. Moreover, a person that haired on any type of job that is not according to that person that man should do their duty fairly and honestly even that job dont gave him mentally satisfection one day that person become a succesful in his life, because they have to know how to servive in that conditions that is much difficult for them. In addition to this some people can socite due to shortage of money that is necessary to manage their fanily systems, in my opinion if any person have much chellanges and harships of life they try to understand these things and try to solve these. If he give up and dont try to solve thus difficulties so he cannot improve their future. If some have bad days in his life he can trust in Allah Almighty who is the owner of whole world and know everything about any person.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0
You express a clear preference for trying to overcome difficulties, especially when you say that people should “try to solve these” and that giving up prevents improvement. However, the task asks you to discuss both views, and the view that people should accept a bad situation is not explained as a reasonable position; it is mostly dismissed as passive. The job and money examples are relevant, but their connection to the two viewpoints is unclear and they are not developed with specific reasoning. The response also does not meet the stated 250-word minimum, which limits how fully you can address the task. To improve, explain why acceptance may sometimes be sensible, then develop and support your own view with clearer examples.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.0
There is a basic attempt to move from general comments to examples and then to your opinion, using markers such as “firstly,” “moreover,” and “in addition to this.” These help signal that ideas are being added. However, the response is presented as one continuous paragraph, and the progression between points is difficult to follow. For example, the discussion shifts from accepting hardship to doing an unsatisfactory job, then to money and faith without clearly showing how each point supports a particular view. Some linking phrases are used mechanically rather than to show a precise relationship. Organise the essay into an introduction, separate paragraphs for each view, and a conclusion, and use clear topic sentences and references to connect ideas.
Lexical Resource: Band 4.5
You use some vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “hardships,” “difficulties,” “shortage of money,” and “successful,” so the general subject is usually recognisable. However, the range is basic and several words or phrases are repeated, particularly “bad situation,” “difficulties,” and “life.” Frequent spelling errors such as “problrms,” “sucess,” and “chellanges,” along with inaccurate expressions such as “sit empty handed” and “mentally satisfection,” make parts of the message harder to understand. Aim to learn accurate topic-related phrases and check spelling carefully. More precise choices, such as “financial hardship” or “job dissatisfaction,” would help you express the ideas more clearly and avoid repetition.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 4.5
You attempt to express connected ideas in longer sentences, including a conditional structure in “If he give up and dont try to solve thus difficulties so he cannot improve their future.” This shows an effort to go beyond isolated simple statements. However, sentence structures are very limited in control, and errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and punctuation occur frequently. For example, “it depends on that perso that how they carry” has an unclear clause structure, while “a person … that man should do their duty” shifts between singular and plural reference. Capitalisation and sentence boundaries are also inconsistent. Practise building accurate simple sentences first, then combine them using controlled clauses; check subject–verb agreement and keep pronouns consistent.
