Discuss both views and give your own opinion.
Student answer (Band 6.0)
Staying happy at every stage of life and accepting circumstances is often appreciated. Some believe it good to accept whatever a person have, other argue one must struggle to achieve better and improve.
In my opinion, balanced approach to both view would be more fruitful rather then emphasizing one of them.
On the one hand, individuals with opoinion ' stay grateful with whatever a person have in life' argue it is good choice for a person to live happy life. Ups and downs are the part of a persons' life and stressing over unexpected circumstances is often harmful to both mental and physical health. Additionally, it is not essential a person gets whatever he or she intends or look for. For instance, if a person appears for an interview or meeting to get contract, there is always someone with better prepration that may gets the job or business. Similarly, individuals with less or no money may look at the rich community and wish for abundance of resources like them may stress over his poor life quality. It is not necessary a person have everything he wishes for in life. Staying grateful with what he or she have make life easy and peaceful.
On the other hand, Advoactes of hard work argue that a person gets life once. One should take charge of his circumstances and struggle to get better. For examle, if a person fails in an interview for better job, instead of spending life with less paying job, one must look for other opportunities. Similarly, looking at prosperous members of society will not make one rich, learning from their stories and taking action will definitly do. They argue that every one deserve better life and access to all amenities which previlliages individuals have. That is possible with try to get better and look for better opportunities.
In largely agree with both views, but a balanced approach would be better. If a person is not having a life he wants or do not have enough financial resources to fulfill his desires, one must look for the options to achieve. At the same time, trying to achieve everything in life sometime make a person over look unethical steps. for instance, if a perosn is not successful in contract, he may look for bribe or other means. So staying happy with whatever a person have and looking for better options to will make persons' life peaceful.
In conclusion, person must accept every situation of life either less finance or no dream job, but at the same time he or she must struggle to get better in life. looking for everything will force them to choose negative ways. So being grateful and choosing right path will be a better opotion.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
You address both views and give a personal position: the two main body paragraphs explain acceptance and striving for improvement, while the conclusion recommends combining them. Your examples about losing an interview and learning from successful people are relevant, and the point that ambition can lead to unethical choices adds a distinct qualification. This meets the task well overall. However, some ideas are more fully explained than others: the benefits of acceptance are developed through several examples, whereas the case for improving circumstances relies mainly on general claims about hard work and opportunity. The position is also described as “balanced” without defining when acceptance should take priority. Clarifying that distinction and extending the second view would make the argument more complete and persuasive.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, your own position, and a conclusion. “On the one hand” and “On the other hand” help signal the contrast, and the examples generally follow the claims they support. The progression is understandable, though some linking is mechanical and ideas occasionally repeat—for example, the conclusion restates both acceptance and striving without adding much to the final position. References such as “them” in “a balanced approach to both view” are not always clear, and the final paragraph’s shift from the risks of ambition to “choosing right path” could be connected more explicitly. Use a wider range of natural transitions and make each paragraph advance a distinct part of the argument.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some topic-relevant vocabulary, including “circumstances,” “opportunities,” “abundance of resources,” and “unethical steps,” which helps communicate the central ideas. However, the range is limited by repeated wording such as “better,” “life,” and “person,” and several inaccurate word choices or collocations make the writing less natural. Examples include “stay grateful with whatever,” “gets life once,” and “look for bribe.” Spelling errors such as “opoinion,” “prepration,” and “definitly” are also noticeable. These issues do not prevent the reader from understanding the main argument, but they reduce precision and can cause some difficulty. Build a bank of accurate collocations for discussing acceptance, ambition, and financial hardship, and proofread spelling carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including conditional structures such as “if a person fails in an interview” and clauses explaining consequences. This gives the response some variety, and the main ideas are usually understandable. However, errors occur frequently across sentence patterns and sometimes make the reader pause. For example, “whatever a person have” has incorrect subject–verb agreement, “it is not essential a person gets” is missing a grammatical link, and “trying to achieve everything in life sometime make” has problems with agreement and adverb form. Articles and plurals are also inconsistent, as in “live happy life” and “every one deserve.” Focus on checking each sentence’s subject and verb, and practise accurate article use and clause construction before adding more complex structures.
