Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

You address both views and give a clear opinion: the introduction says people should try for positive change, and the conclusion reinforces this. The examples about keeping a job for income and learning new skills or seeking extra income are relevant and help explain each position. This meets the task well, but the two sides are not developed equally in depth. The acceptance argument would be clearer if you distinguished accepting what cannot be changed immediately from giving up on improvement altogether. The final phrase, “for their luminous career and families,” is also unclear and weakens the conclusion’s explanation of your position. Develop that point more precisely and extend the supporting reasoning to make the discussion more complete.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. The progression from acceptance to active improvement is easy to follow, and signposts such as “On the other hand,” “For instance,” and “In conclusion” help guide the reader. However, some linking is mechanical, and a few connections are unclear. For example, “Therefore, acceptance have provide a peace of mind” does not clearly follow from the preceding examples, while “Although, these changes require time and effort, they can lead to better opportunity can greater satisfaction” makes the relationship between ideas difficult to track. Use fewer formulaic transitions and make each sentence’s connection to the paragraph’s main point explicit.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use enough topic-related vocabulary to discuss employment and financial hardship, including “stable income,” “financial difficulties,” “quality of life,” and “financial stability.” There are also attempts at more specific expressions, such as “unnecessary stress” and “monthly budget.” However, spelling errors and inaccurate word choices are noticeable and sometimes make the meaning less clear: “situaton,” “fincancially,” and “luminous career” are examples. Some collocations are also unnatural, including “complicated situation” and “higher qualification.” Aim for accurate, natural combinations rather than ambitious but unclear phrasing, and proofread spelling carefully. This would make your vocabulary more precise and flexible while preserving the relevant range already shown.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including conditional and concessive structures: “If individuals simply accept their present situation…” and “Although these changes require time and effort…”. However, errors occur frequently across the response, and some sentences are difficult to process. Examples include “acceptance have provide,” “he need a stable income,” and “people … develop a monthly budget and looks,” where verb forms or agreement are incorrect. Sentence boundaries and punctuation also need attention, as in “For example. a person…” and the comma splice in “...depression, this is because…”. Practise checking subject–verb agreement, verb forms, and clause boundaries, then reread each sentence to ensure its structure is complete and clear.
