Student answer (Band 5.0)
Some people believe that it is best to accept a bad situation rather than to solve the situation such as an unemplyoment and shortage of money while, others argue that it is better to try and improve such situations. In my opinion, it is importanat to overcome bad situation to succeed in life and it also help for career development.
On the one hand, some people thought it is better to accept bad situation rather than solving it. Sometimes people can not overcome the bad situation because they do not have enough resources. They face many challenges in their lives such as unemplyement and shortage of money. People face a lot of struggle while starting the business sometime they face failure and it leads them to shortage of money because people invest all their money in business. It also effect their health because people often in stress when they are unemplyoment. For instance, person lose their job because their boss was not satisfied with their work and he terminate them so the employee accept the situation because employee know they made the mistake and they have to own their mistake rather than create a issue.
On the other hand, some people beleive it is better to try and improve such situations. People should make a plan to overcome these situation they should try to search new jobs rather than accepting that they have not enough knowledge. However, people start their own business if they do not have enough money they take a loan from banks. After overcome these problems people can find better jobs and acheive professional success and their health also improve because people often take stress when they have no job.For example, people face shortage of money they asked their friends or take loan and start some business for better income.
In conclusion, people should face different situations in their lives rather than accepting it they should try to overcome that bad situation for their better life and career.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both views and give a clear opinion: you argue that people should try to overcome difficult circumstances for a better life and career. The examples about losing a job, starting a business, and seeking work are relevant to the topic. However, the discussion is only partly developed. The acceptance view focuses mainly on accepting responsibility after dismissal, rather than explaining more broadly why someone might accept an unsatisfactory situation; the improvement view also relies on general suggestions such as taking a loan or starting a business. Develop each side with clearer reasoning and explain the likely benefits or risks of the proposed actions. The conclusion repeats your position but could more directly summarise the contrast between the two views.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for each view, and a conclusion. The signposts “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” help readers identify the stages of the discussion. However, progression within paragraphs is sometimes unclear: the first body paragraph moves from limited resources to business failure, stress, and dismissal without clearly connecting these examples to the reasons for accepting a situation. Several ideas are joined in long sentences, and “However” does not express a clear contrast in its sentence about searching for work and starting a business. Use clearer links between claim, explanation, and example, and make pronoun references such as “these situation” and “it” more precise.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “shortage of money,” “resources,” “professional success,” and “career development.” However, the range is limited and several words or phrases are repeated, especially “bad situation,” “people,” and “shortage of money.” There are also noticeable spelling and word-choice problems, such as “unemplyoment,” “beleive,” “acheive,” and “effect their health.” Some expressions are unnatural or imprecise, including “create a issue” and “own their mistake.” These choices sometimes make the reader pause, even though the overall meaning remains understandable. Build a wider set of accurate phrases for employment, financial hardship, and coping strategies, and check spelling and collocations carefully.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including clauses with “because” and “rather than,” but complex structures are often faulty and errors occur frequently. For example, “it also help for career development” has subject–verb and sentence-pattern problems, while “people often in stress” is missing a verb. There are also errors in articles, plurals, and agreement, as in “a issue,” “these situation,” and “person lose their job.” Punctuation and spacing sometimes make sentence boundaries difficult to follow, particularly where several clauses are joined together. Practise building accurate sentences with one main idea and a clearly controlled subordinate clause, then check verb forms, articles, and punctuation.
