Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both views: the first body paragraph explains how accepting difficult circumstances may protect mental well-being, while the second argues that taking action can improve prospects. Your own position is also clear in the introduction and conclusion, where you favour trying to change the situation. However, the discussion is only partially developed. For example, the point about temporary financial issues is left unclear, and the benefits of acceptance are not balanced with a specific example or explanation. The response also contains 206 words, so it does not meet the required minimum of 250. Develop each view with a clear example and explain how it supports your argument to make the response more complete.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, with an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, and a conclusion. Signposts such as “On the one hand,” “on the other hand,” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the basic direction of the argument. However, progression within paragraphs is uneven: “Furthermore temporary financial issues can effect on recent living” does not clearly connect to the preceding point or explain its relevance. Some linking is also mechanical, and punctuation problems make boundaries between ideas unclear, particularly in the introduction and conclusion. Organise each body paragraph around one main claim, then add an explanation or example before moving on. Clearer sentence boundaries and more precise references would make the overall progression easier to follow.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “mental well-being,” “chronic stress,” “upskill,” “higher-paying employment,” and “resilience.” These choices show an effort to discuss both emotional effects and practical ways to improve circumstances. However, the range is not consistently controlled: frequent spelling errors and inaccurate word forms, such as “statifaction,” “fiancial,” “powerfull,” and “willingmess,” distract the reader. Some phrases are also unnatural or unclear, including “job limitation,” “a powerfull for positive tranformation,” and “effect on recent living.” Choose familiar collocations accurately before reaching for more ambitious wording, and proofread spelling and word forms. More precise expressions would help communicate your ideas without requiring the reader to infer your meaning.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including the contrast between the two views and the relative clause in “Individual who take action … are significantly more likely.” However, control is inconsistent, and errors occur frequently enough to make some sentences difficult to process. Examples include “Some people are believe,” “accepting reality as it is,is helping,” and “Actively improve the situation can resulting,” where verb forms and sentence construction are faulty. Agreement and articles also need attention, as in “Individual who take action.” Punctuation and spacing around commas and full stops are often inaccurate, sometimes joining separate ideas into one run-on sentence. Practise building accurate subject–verb–object sentences, then add subordinate clauses once the basic structure is secure.
