Student answer (Band 5.5)

A SMALL NUMBER OF PERSON BELIEVE THAT IT GOOD TO ACCEPT A WORSE SITUATION , SUCH AS A SHORTAGE OF MONEY OR AN UNSATISFACTORY JOB WHERAS, REMAINING DECLINE IT AND HOPE IT IS BETTER TO TRY AND IMPROVE THE SITUATIONS . ACCEPTING THE WORST SITUATION CAN DEVELOP THE MENTAL HEALTH WHEREAS, IMPROVING BAD SITUATION CAN UPLIFT OUR CONFIDENCE LEVEL.

AS WE ALL KHOW, MENTAL HEALTH IS ESSENTIAL FOR EVERYONE. ACCEPTING A BAD SITUATION DOESNOT DETEORAITE OUR MENTAL HEALTH BECAUSE IT INTERVENE TO KEEP CALM AND PROVIDE PEACE THAT CAN SOLVE ANY PROBLEMS . FOR EXAMPLE, MY FRIEND WHO LOSE HIS JOB RECENTLY UNDERGO DEPRESSION DUE TO OVERTHINKING LATER ON THERAPY HELP HIM A LOT . AS A RESULT, ACCEPTING EVERY SITUATION ESPECIALLY TERRIBLE ONE CAN SAVE THEM FROM LOSING THEIR LIFE DUE TO OVERTHINKING.

EVERYONE SHOULD TRY TO IMPROVE OR GENERATE THE WAY TO OVERCOME FROM SUCH CHALLENGES.TRYING TO FIGURE IT OUT TO SOLVE ISSUES CAN RAISE THE CONFIDENT LEVEL TO DEAL WITH THOSE WORSE SITUATION BECAUASE A CONFIDENT IS ALWAYS THE KEY TO SUCCESS. FOR INSTANCE, A BOY WHO DOESNOT HAVE MONEY PREFER STRUGGLE TO GET WORK RATHER THAN ASKING FOR MONEY WITH OTHER.AS A RESULT, PERSON WHO FACES EVERY SITUATION CALMLY HAS A GOOD NATURE OF PATIENCE .

TO CONCLUDE , CITIZEN ACCEPTING THE SITUATION ON ITS OWN WAY CAN SAVE THEM LOSING THEIR LIFE AS WELL AS SAVE THEM FROM MENTAL TROUBLE AS WELL TRYING TO FIGURE OUT THE SOLUTION OF NUMEROUS CHALLENGES CAN DEVELOP THE IMPORTANCE OF STRUGGLE . IN MY OPINIION, I WOULD DEFINETELY GO FOR A TRY TO IMPROVE THE WORSE SITUATION.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address both views: the first body paragraph argues that accepting hardship can protect mental health, while the second says that trying to improve circumstances can build confidence. Your conclusion also gives a clear preference for making an effort to improve a bad situation. These points are relevant, and the example of your friend losing his job helps illustrate the first view. However, some ideas are less fully explained than others. For instance, the claim that acceptance can prevent someone from “losing their life” is serious but is not clearly connected to the example, and the second view would benefit from explaining more specifically how seeking work improves a shortage of money. Develop each reason with a clear explanation and a closely linked example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a recognisable overall structure: an introduction, one paragraph for each view, and a conclusion. This makes the discussion easy to follow in broad terms, and phrases such as “For example” and “To conclude” signal the purpose of sections. However, connections between ideas are sometimes mechanical or unclear. “Whereas” is used where the relationship between the clauses is not a contrast, and repeated “As a result” statements do not always follow clearly from the preceding point. Some references, such as “it” in “Trying to figure it out,” are vague. Use topic sentences to establish each paragraph’s main point, then connect explanations and examples explicitly; vary linking expressions and check that each one accurately describes the relationship.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “mental health,” “overthinking,” “confidence,” “challenges,” and “patience.” These choices show an attempt to discuss both emotional effects and practical action. However, the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation, and spelling problems make some phrases difficult to interpret. For example, “generate the way to overcome” and “a confident” are not natural expressions, while “remaining decline it” obscures the intended meaning. Spelling errors such as “detearoite” and “definetely” also reduce accuracy. Build a bank of natural topic phrases, such as “cope with a difficult situation” and “seek better employment,” and proofread spelling and word forms before submitting.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, including explanations with “because” and examples introduced by “who.” This gives the response some structural variety. However, errors in verb forms, agreement, articles, and sentence construction occur often enough to make parts of the argument difficult to read. For example, “my friend who lose his job recently undergo depression” needs consistent past-tense forms, and “A boy who doesnot have money prefer struggle” has problems with agreement and the verb pattern. Several sentences also run together or lack clear punctuation, particularly in the conclusion. Practise building accurate sentences around one main clause, then add subordinate clauses only when their grammar is secure; check tense, subject–verb agreement, and sentence boundaries.
