Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.0

Your position is clear: you favour making efforts to improve difficult circumstances, and you give relevant examples such as looking for another job or taking on extra work. However, the discussion of the opposing view is only briefly addressed. You mention that accepting a bad situation is difficult but that people may have to face it, without explaining why acceptance might be sensible—for example, when change is risky or options are limited. Several suggestions about increasing income are listed rather than developed, and the conclusion repeats your opinion without drawing the two views together. To strengthen the response, explain both perspectives more fully and support each with a clear reason or example.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The response has a recognisable structure, moving from an introduction to examples and then a concluding statement. Linking expressions such as “For instance,” “Similarly,” and “Due to” help show relationships between ideas. However, progression is uneven: the second body paragraph becomes a list of possible jobs, and the opposing view is not given a distinct, developed paragraph. Some connections are unclear, as in “Situation should be analyzed and planning should be made accordingly,” which does not specify how this point follows from the preceding discussion. Repeated references to improving financial resources also make the development feel circular. Organise each paragraph around one main point and use clearer links between the explanation and its examples.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You attempt vocabulary relevant to the topic, including “unsatisfactory job,” “inflation,” “anxiety and depression,” and “financial stability.” These choices show some range beyond basic everyday language. However, noticeable spelling and word-choice errors sometimes make the message harder to follow, such as “unwated,” “incom,” “redources,” and “lufe.” Several phrases are also unnatural or imprecise, including “constraint financial resources,” “financially condition,” and “life standards.” The repeated use of “financial” and “improve” limits variety. Check spelling carefully and learn common collocations as complete phrases, such as “financial circumstances” and “standard of living,” rather than translating expressions word by word.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a conditional example beginning “if someone is not getting the reasonable salary” and a cause-and-effect sentence about inflation and living expenses. However, errors occur frequently and sometimes make sentence relationships difficult to understand. For example, “one should made maximum possible efforts” has an incorrect verb form, while “if someone …, should not go” lacks a clear subject in the main clause. The opening fragment beginning “While others believe” is not joined correctly to the preceding sentence. There are also problems with articles, agreement, and sentence boundaries. Practise building accurate complete sentences first, then add subordinate clauses and check that each clause has a subject and correctly formed verb.
