Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0

You introduce both views and give a clear opinion: you argue that people should try to improve difficult circumstances, citing mental capacity and lifestyle. You also begin to explain why someone might accept an unsatisfactory job, linking this to endurance. However, the response addresses the task only partially: the second view is not developed, the opposing view is not discussed, and the example beginning “if an employee working…” is unfinished. Your reasons for improving a situation are stated but not explained or supported. The response is also substantially below the required 250 words, which leaves too little space to develop both sides and your position. To improve, complete the discussion of each view and add relevant explanations and examples.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0

There is some organisation: the opening introduces the issue and your position, and “On the one hand” signals the start of a discussion of acceptance. The ideas within the first body paragraph are broadly connected, moving from endurance to an employee’s experience. However, there is no completed discussion of the other view or a conclusion, so the response has no clear overall progression. The final example stops mid-sentence, leaving the paragraph unfinished. Cohesive links such as “because” and “For example” are attempted, but they cannot establish a full argument when the ideas are not completed. Plan a separate paragraph for each view, use clear links between the reasons and examples, and finish with a conclusion that restates your opinion.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “endure,” “negative situations,” “mental capacity,” and “lifestyle,” and these choices make your general position understandable. However, the range is limited and several noticeable spelling, word-form, or collocation errors make parts difficult to read. Examples include “theirs unsatisfactory job,” “theur endurance level,” “rregardless,” and “working dor a.” The phrase “make develop someone's patiences” is also unclear, and “improving these issues” is less natural than describing improvement to a situation. Build a bank of accurate topic phrases and check spelling and word forms carefully. Using more precise expressions for financial hardship, job dissatisfaction, and resilience would help you explain the ideas more clearly.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a contrast with “while” and a subordinate clause beginning “Although.” This shows an effort to connect ideas rather than relying only on short statements. However, complex structures are often faulty, and errors sometimes make the meaning difficult to follow. For example, “Although some terrible situation can make develop…” lacks a clear grammatical construction, while “it helps to strengthens” has an incorrect verb form. In “When an individual has stayed in a job… it gives them,” the reference of “it” is unclear, and the final example is incomplete. Practise building complete sentences with a clear subject and verb, and check agreement, verb forms, and punctuation before submitting.
