Some people believe that it is best to accept a bad situation, such as an unsatisfactory job or shortage of money. Others argue that it is better to try and improve such situations.
Discuss both views and give your own opinion.
Student answer (Band 6.0)
Nowadays people are more concious about their future and career goal. Some people belive that people should try and improve bad situation such as unsatisfactory job or shortage of money, while others argue that it is better to accept bad situation. In my opinion, people should try to improve their life by searching better job and by choosing satisfied career path.
On the one hand, some unexpected situation affects our lives in a bad way such as lossing job for pandamic or climate change. In this time we can not able to choose different options rather than just joining any kind of job, so that we can lead our life . For example, in covid-19 there are a lot of people who work in marketing sector, loose their jobs for lockdown. Therefore, they want to get any kind of job without thinkig about facilities and salary just because they could not able to pay their regular execsories which is mendatory. As a result, in some bad situation, it is best to accept it .
On the other hand, people can get better opportunity by consistence trying. If we continuously practice to develop our skills and find better option for our destination, after a certain time we definately get it. In addition, a professionalist should not just stay at a point , if he is not satisfied. For instance, a skilled worker may apply in different sector who will pay better salary and greater career opportunity, to improve her life. However, people should not give up and just wait for any miracle, by continuous pratice and knowledge anyone can do anything. Therefore, people should try to overcome any kind of bad situation .
In conclution, life is unpredictable, anything would be happened in our future. So, I strongly belive that everyone should try to get better job with higher salary and overall better future .

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
You address both views and state a clear opinion: you explain why people may accept a difficult situation when they have few immediate options, then argue that people should seek better work and develop their skills. The examples about job losses during lockdown and a skilled worker applying elsewhere are relevant. However, the first view is mainly explained through crisis circumstances, while the opposing view receives broader support; the discussion of accepting an unsatisfactory job or financial hardship could be developed beyond the pandemic example. Some claims, such as “anyone can do anything,” are too general to fully support your position. Develop each side with a more specific explanation and make the limits of your advice clearer.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for each view, and a conclusion that restates your opinion. Signposting such as “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” makes the progression easy to follow. This coherent organisation is a strength. To make the links more natural and precise, reduce reliance on formulaic transitions and clarify some connections within sentences. For example, “Therefore, they want to get any kind of job” does not clearly identify who “they” refers to, and “In this time” is an imprecise link to the situation described. Use clearer references and connect each example explicitly to the point it supports.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use vocabulary relevant to employment and personal progress, including “career path,” “opportunity,” “salary,” and “develop our skills.” However, the range is limited and several noticeable spelling, word-form, and collocation errors reduce precision: “concious,” “belive,” “consistence trying,” “professionalist,” and “regular execsories” make parts of the message difficult to interpret. Some phrases are also unnatural, such as “better option for our destination” and “satisfied career path.” Aim to learn vocabulary in accurate word forms and common combinations, and proofread spelling. More precise expressions for financial obligations, job security, and career advancement would help you express the ideas more clearly.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and complex sentence forms, including conditional and subordinate clauses, as in “If we continuously practice to develop our skills…” and “who will pay better salary.” The overall meaning is usually understandable, but some errors in verb forms, sentence construction, articles, and punctuation remain. For example, “we can not able to choose” combines incompatible verb patterns; “there are a lot of people who work … loose their jobs” has an unclear clause structure; and “anything would be happened” uses an incorrect passive form. Review modal constructions, past-tense reporting, and article use, then check each sentence for a complete, correctly linked structure. This will make your varied sentences more controlled.
