Student answer (Band 5.5)

It is often argued that it is wiser to live with difficult conditions such unfulfilling career or financial stress. While others argue that it is excellent to strive for better conditions and improve them. While i believe that individuals in tough financial conditions should learn new skills that are more rewarding and always try to find new opportunities.

To begin with, people who got stucked in bad conditions such as unfulfilling job or low money feel wiser to accept these conditions. They try their best to accept these situations to keep their lives happier. They believe that one day these conditions will be improved by God. The tough time is given to them by God and he will sort it out. They try hard to fight with financial crisis. Individuals keep their minds relax and believe that they will gain financial freedom until they found good opportunites.

On the other hand, people always try to find excellent opportunities that suit their qualities and give them enough money and respect. They always strive for learning new skills that are more trending and rewarding. Individuals of this kind of mindset are on the right track because when you try for new and opportunites ultimately you found them. Great people always do not give up to bad conditions. These bad circumstances always come to teach your mistakes. For example, my friend Ali got stucked in low income job. He tried his best to find best opportunities. One day he found a more rewarding and respective job. So a person should not surrender to bad circumstances and always should try their best to learn new skills.

I believe that indiviuals who are stucked in financial crisis should learn new skills like Youtube automation, Tiktok ads and Facebook monetization. When they will learn these skills, the will ultimately get start earning from these skills. So person should always find ways to improve their lives but not surrender to bad circumstances.

In conclusion, people who surrender themselves to bad conditions of their career or finance are not on the right track. They should try new ways to improve and enhance their lives.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address both perspectives and state your own view: the opening contrasts accepting difficult conditions with seeking improvement, and your conclusion clearly favours taking action. The discussion of acceptance is relevant, particularly the idea that faith and patience can help people cope, while the Ali example supports the opposing view. However, the two sides are not developed equally: the first is explained mainly through belief in God and keeping a positive mindset, with little consideration of practical reasons someone might accept a difficult job or limited income. Your own recommendation to learn digital skills is clear, but claims such as people “will ultimately get start earning” need more explanation or qualification. Develop the reasons behind each position more fully and support broad claims with precise reasoning.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a clear overall structure: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, a paragraph giving your opinion, and a conclusion. Signposts such as “To begin with,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” help readers follow the discussion. However, cohesion is sometimes mechanical, and ideas within paragraphs do not always progress smoothly. In the first body paragraph, the points about accepting circumstances, God, and financial freedom are placed together without clearly showing how one leads to the next. The second body paragraph also repeats the idea of finding opportunities and not giving up. Use clearer links between claims and examples, and avoid repeating the same point in slightly different wording. More precise referencing would also help readers track who “they” refers to.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use a relevant range of vocabulary for the topic, including “financial crisis,” “financial freedom,” “rewarding,” “circumstances,” and “opportunities.” These choices make your main ideas understandable, and you attempt some less common expressions. However, several word-choice, collocation, and spelling problems reduce precision: “low money” is not a natural way to describe limited income, “respective job” does not convey the intended meaning, and “stucked” and “opportunites” are misspelled or incorrectly formed. “Excellent opportunities” is also repeated and sounds less precise than alternatives such as suitable or promising opportunities. Aim for accurate, natural combinations of words and check spelling and word forms carefully; this would make your vocabulary more effective without requiring unnecessarily complex language.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and complex sentences, including clauses beginning with “While” and “when,” and most of your meaning can be followed. However, control is uneven, particularly in verb forms, sentence boundaries, and agreement. The opening begins “While others argue…” as a fragment rather than a complete sentence. In “when you try for new and opportunities ultimately you found them,” the clause structure and tense are faulty; “When they will learn these skills, the will ultimately get start earning” also contains several errors in the conditional construction and verb pattern. There are additional problems with forms such as “people who got stucked” and “should always find ways.” Practise building complete sentences and maintaining consistent tense, especially in conditional statements, while continuing to use a mix of sentence structures.
