Student answer (Band 5.5)

Many pthey oeple think that it is good to accept a bad situation, such as unsatisfactory job or low paying job shifts. Some people think that it is more beneficial to try to improve these situations work hard to get better results. These are the views that I am going to discuss below.

On the one hand, many people believe that it is best to accept a bad situation. I think, it is good to accept that kind of offers, especially in your bad time. If someone is in its difficult time and theythr stress do not have enough money to reduce stress in their minds so they have to accept low paying jobs. For instance, an unsatisfactory job or shortage of money. These jobs will help them to stay financially stable in their difficult times.

On the other hand, some poeple argues that it is good to try and improve situations. Definately, you should give a chance to yourself to improve or finding a better way. Moreover, work hard, stay consistent and motivated. Just dont give up easily give it a try to become better and not to repeat the exact mistakes that you done in the past.

In my opinion, both views are positive because these views can apply according to the situation. In your ups and downs, you have to accept a bad situation or sacrifice your comfort to stay financially stable. On the other hand, if you are already financially stable you should try to imrove such situations.

In conclusion, Both views are positive and maintain thier own values according to the situations. In addition, both views have their own importance and apply according to your neends.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address both views and give a personal position: accepting difficult circumstances may protect financial stability, while people who are already stable can try to improve their situation. This is relevant to the question, but the discussion is only partly developed. The first view is supported mainly by the general point that low-paid work can help someone remain financially stable, and the second relies on broad advice to work hard and stay motivated. The examples do not explain how or when improvement might be possible, and the conclusion largely repeats the position rather than drawing the discussion together. To strengthen the response, explain each view with a specific reason or example and make your own judgement more decisive. The response meets the required length; 11 words copied from the task prompt were not counted.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The response has a clear overall arrangement: an introduction, separate paragraphs for the two views, your opinion, and a conclusion. The signposts “On the one hand,” “On the other hand,” and “In conclusion” help readers follow this structure. However, progression within paragraphs is less secure. For example, “For instance, an unsatisfactory job or shortage of money” repeats the topic rather than illustrating the preceding point, while “Moreover, work hard, stay consistent and motivated” is not smoothly connected to the sentence before it. The conclusion also repeats the same idea about both views applying according to circumstances. Develop each paragraph through a reason followed by explanation or an example, and use references that make clear who “they” and “you” refer to.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use enough topic-related vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including “financially stable,” “unsatisfactory job,” and “improve situations.” There are also attempts at phrases such as “stay consistent and motivated.” However, the range is limited and several expressions are imprecise or repetitive, which sometimes makes the meaning less clear. “Low paying job shifts” is an awkward description, and “accept that kind of offers” does not express the intended idea naturally. Spelling errors such as “Definately,” “imrove,” “thier,” and “neends” are noticeable. Build a more accurate set of phrases for employment and financial hardship, and check spelling and collocations during editing. This would make your ideas clearer and more natural.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more extended sentence forms, including conditional structures such as “if you are already financially stable you should try to improve such situations.” However, the range is limited, and attempts to combine ideas often contain errors that can make the reader work to understand them. For example, “If someone is in its difficult time and theythr stress do not have enough money” has unclear clause structure and faulty pronoun agreement; “some poeple argues” also has a subject–verb agreement error. Articles and sentence boundaries need attention, as in “such as unsatisfactory job” and the comma after “I think.” Practise constructing clear complex sentences with accurate subjects, verbs, and punctuation, then proofread each sentence for agreement and articles.
